JUMP – by Uber

JUMP connects cities using smart, electric bike (e-bike) share. JUMP currently has systems in San Francisco (invite-only) and Washington DC. Each JUMP e-bike has a 250-watt electric motor in the front hub to boost users up hills and across longer distances. The e-bikes feature active GPS, to make find a bike snap, and an integrated U-bar that locks to regular public bike racks to ensure clear sidewalks. New members can sign up through the web (www.jumpmobility.com) or the JUMP mobile app.

When using a JUMP e-bike, always follow the rules of the local road, obey traffic laws, and wear a helmet. At the end of a trip, the JUMP e-bike must be locked to either a bike rack or other legal bike parking location.

The JUMP Mobility app allows you to:
- Sign up and set up your JUMP account
- Find hubs and available bikes
- Reserve bikes in advance
- Monitor “hold” time
- Report a problem with a bike
- Track your ride – miles, duration, route
- See your trip history
- Subscribe to other JUMP networks
- Read JUMP’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Manage your account

The JUMP Mobility app also integrates with Apple’s Health app to sync your bicycle trips.
You can enable integration in the “Account” tab.

Terrible Customer Service
disappointed debbie_

I had a $50 unknown charge on my account when I wasn’t even using a jump bike. I reached out to customer service multiple times and never heard back.

Extremely buggy!

Not the quality of app that would be expected from a company like Uber. It looks nice but doesn't work very well.

Horrible Customer Service
Jq987098

They charged me $55 for a 30 minute ride because when I attempted to end my ride and it wasn't working I simply left it at the site with other scooters, thinking it'd work automatically. It's been a month now and I haven't gotten a response from customer service. Don't waste your time use Bird scooters.

terrible customer service
Hopefully no one has this name

the bikes are great the seldom times that they work. but any time there is any problem at all that requires customer service, you might as well talk to a brick wall because that’ll help you out more than the jump customer service employees

Please bring more to Seattle!

Love these as they are great for cost effectively bridging short distances quickly. Although Lime is on literally every street corner and more, their $1 to unlock++ price point doesn't make sense for a 3 minute ride. If only Limes are around, I'll walk and deal with being late. If there's a Jump, I'll pay the 66 cents to be on time, but there frequently isn't one for several blocks. Please add more! I promise I'd use them!

Meh

Yucky Uber. Am I right ladies?

You are now in a no parking zone. Ending your rental in a no parking zone may result in a fee. They going to send you the message every time you use the bike

Charged $7 for a 5 minute ride

I locked the bike but was still charged for 27 minutes for $7. There's no way to contest this

Stay away
SOUR LIMES

For the love of God please do not buy this service. First- Lime, Bird, and Spin have all been in this game longer and as such have far superior, cheaper, and safer scooters. The Jump scooters are shaky and have a notoriously low battery life and range, even though for some reason the scooters have an iridescent rainbow light that must waste a lot of energy better used for travel. But the real reason is the BIKES. They have bikes that you have to manually lock around a bike rack at the end of your trip, which is inconvenient because I never know where those are. But because there’s no way to lock the bike from the app, it’s possible that you’re manual lock didn’t register and you can get stuck with a $153 bill for a 17 hour bike ride (never mind that the bike was in the same place for 16 of those hours). There’s also no customer service or mechanism to complain. 0 stars.
