Poor support on app and super high parking fees

J132425

I rode the bikes with my son for the first time while on a trip to Seattle. We picked up the bikes in a parking lot in Discovery Park and returned them to the exact spot. After we locked the bikes it said they were in a no parking zone and we would be charged a $25 fee each if we didn’t move the bikes. The app didn’t show where an actual parking area was for them, and you couldn't exit that screen. We tried moving one bike around, and it said the same thing. There was no support on the app and no way to find out where we could park them. So we got charged $25 each in addition to our $6 ride. Utter fail, Uber, and I’ll never use these bikes again!!

Bikes on the map issue

Dario36514

Bikes would show up on map but when someone before you rents the bike then the bikes still show on the map I don’t know if people are hiding bikes inside their homes. Other than that the bikes can be very reliable i just wish they can update it that once the bike is gone it disappears off the maps or add a cool effect that once a bike is taken slowly fade the bike. But anyways i wish there was a rule that if a bike is found in a backyard it would charge the last rider a fee.

NO STARS, MULTIPLE STITCHES

Strebleson_belieber_faggot

Horrible, terrible, awful, pick any negative word out there. They are absurdly unsafe. Even the slightest bump WILL end in disaster. Encountered a very routine bump in the road and it sent me flying over the handlebars, punching a hole clean through lip that required 10 stitches to fix. A friend encountered the same accident. They needed facial reconstructive surgery and multiple screws to put their broken face back together. People are dying on these things. Take a regular ride share, the few extra bucks will be more worth it than hefty medical bills, OR YOUR LIFE. Every medical professional I have seen condemns these horrible devices. Down with all scooter companies.

No end button

Everything is good until you try and end your ride. No idea how they missed that one.

Password Issue...

Heliotropic

I can't get the app to work because I don't know my old password. Everytime I try (whether it's through Facebook) or not I get a prompt to reset it through email and the email never gets sent. I've tried this at least 10 times. Please fix.

Won’t fix error problem after submitting several reports

So for about 3 months now, I have been getting a pop up saying “error cannot complete at this time” which is because there is a $1.08 charge that also won’t clear no matter how many times I press to pay it, the notification always says, “error try again another time.” Lime and Bird don’t have a problem with taking my money and Jump/Uber just keep ignoring the issue even after 6 emails over the course of 3 months, so I guess I’m just not allowed? Don’t get burned like I did, go to Lime.

Good idea...

Tried to rent a scooter in DC and it said payment error.. had a friend have the same issue. So it would be nice if it worked..

Please fix

I tried adding a payment method to the app and it wouldn’t let me for 5 minutes but then when it showed up I tried renting a bike and it would appear the card wasn’t there when it told me to select a card to pay for the bike. Edit: tried uninstalling and clearing the cache off my phone and even tried using the basic Uber app to rent a bike but it still doesn’t work.

Frustrated

In theory, Jump bikes is a good idea. However, after downloading the app and setting up an account, it would not allow me to rent a bike. The error message said I needed to update my credit card info, contact my bank, or contact Jump Bike. I tried all of these things. I tried re-entering by cc info, and I also used my husband’s credit card. Neither worked. I contacted my bank and they said that Uber had tried to authorize the charge and that it had worked on their end - it was not declined. Finally I tried to contact Jump Bike, but it is impossible to get anyone on the phone when you contact customer service. I also tried using the Uber app, but had the same problem. The whole process took about 45 minutes, which wasted precious vacation time. In the meantime, four of my friends had all started their jump bikes and were being charged by the minute. Although they did stop their bikes after it was clear that it was going to take a while, they still got charged. In the end we weren’t able to make it work and the whole process was a total waste of time and money.

Stop overlooking micro theft from these ridshare apps JUMP is the 1 I’m reffing to now

Worst experience ever almost every time I choose to patronize this company I get robbed, from my understanding it cost $.25/minute to rent these bikes, but I took a trip that ended up being just that, a minute but in my receipt it said $.55 so I was a little confused cause that was twice as much as advertised but I kinda didn’t care and kept it moving then we have today were I needed to pay my electricity bill which I had that exact amount well to be honest like $2 over my light bill total just meaning I had enough to ride the bike a couple minutes away and still pay my bill but when I reached power company and tried ending the trip the app wouldn’t let me so it charges me for 13 minutes for a 2 minute trip and reduced the amount of my account to the point where I no longer have the full amount for light bill so now my lights are off until I receive this refund they should never have taken in the first place, so I call and let them know my power is off cause the took more money than they should and they offer nothing to compensate what me and my kids will have to go through for the next 3-5 business days so I’ve had enough and I’m reporting them to bbb for overcharging and theft use at your own risk but keep this in mind it may be pennies to you but when u steel a million pennies from a million different people it adds up so they count on people overlooking the small amount theft they bank on that mindset that oh it’s just a quarter or its just a dollar mindset so they can slip under the radar and get away wit stealing
