I drove for Uber eats for two weeks before today. Only on the weekends to boost my savings. My city was never uploaded accurately. I called to have the city updated correctly, seeing how the documents I gave should have supported my correct address (license and car insurance). Spoke with a person on the phone who updated my city, but never expressed prior to doing so, i would need to wait for yet ANOTHER background check. Spoke with another agent in the background department who could not give me estimated time as to when it would be completed. Although prince who I spoke with told me it could be expedited! Now I have been put at a disadvantage on waiting for 3-5 days AGAIN! For a mistake a never made! The system is backwards. Although I understand the purpose of the background check, I am who I am and have not changed identities. I am just asking for my location to be updated, CORRECTLY! seeing how all the documents I have supplied had my correct address to begin with! I ask to speak with the highest level supervisor and I’m told “Im the best support you have”. And refused to place a request to speak with a supervisor! This is wrong to do to people on many levels! Seeing how the original mistake was not mine to begin with!!!!
Good app and orders but

They need to do something about the people who offer you tip just so you pick up order and then people take it off once it delivered. Its not right that you accept orders that go far and then u dont make what was first offered. It’s messed up fir the drivers

It seems whenever I accept 50 trips to make an extra 210-270$ Uber suddenly stops sending me requests and I am never able to complete those 50 rides by Monday morning for the bonuses it offers. I even drove to high profile spots. Still useless. Deleted and reinstalled the app. STILL USELESS. You guys can do better besides wasting peoples time and money. Improve your app!

They begun to hide the addresses of customers and restaurants. That’s the funniest thing about the platform so far. You are hesitating if you want to deliver an order, now you can reject the order at once when you don’t know the directions .

where shall I begin, this app is making me regret I even signed up! Here I am posted in the middle of my city, knowing that people are placing orders and I feel like UBER is personally skipping over me. I’ve signed out, went offline and then back on line WASTING GAS! driving across this city looking for something and still NOTHING! absolutely nothing! I called the driver support she said she “fixed” whatever and still I’ve only have ONE TRIP TODAY! horrible HORRIBLE! I’m tired of people saying folks don’t want to work or lazy! I’m off from my regular job and I’m bored so I want to drive and make a little extra money. This is just really wasting my time and gas.

I wish I could give this app one star. Clearly you’ve hired the worst iOS developers you could find. So many bugs. So many simple mistakes. A five year old could code better than Uber. Learn to code.
Acceptance rate impacted by app issues

I’ve been experiencing an issue with the Uber app that does not let me accept an offer and screen keeps on spinning for three days in a row. While the IT support is “trying” to resolve this matter this issues is impacting by earnings and the acceptance rate is going down, the system is assuming I’m rejecting orders but the reality is that the app shows that something went error, an unknown error occurred. The acceptance rate only benefits Uber to show customers and merchants they are trying to improve their fill rate to guarantee no orders will be refused by drivers unfortunately this technical issues impact driver’s performance disclosing sensitive information in the drivers profile
