generally a happy customer
I was charged FIFTY DOLLARS for a 3 block ride even though I locked my bike and opened a support ticket immediately after because I noticed I was still being charged. It’s been 4 days and they haven’t responded to any of my questions.

Uber is going through internal financial turmoil and it’s clearly showing through this horrific app that should be renamed Junk instead of Jump. So Uber acquired Jump in April 2018, but they didn’t merge/migrate Jump user accounts with Uber until April this year. Ever since they merged the accounts and updated the app, it went to trash. First, the app never works. Second, it just never works. Third, did I mention that it never works? I’d say 8-9 out of 10 times I try unlocking a bike it would fail and it’s not the bikes issue. The service is so pathetically unreliable I frequently end up walking to my destination. In fact, I’m so fed up with this junk that I actually went and bought myself a low-end bicycle. Woot woot! Thanks Uber!! Every time I scan the bike, it’d take 5 years to load the reservation then it’ll say some sort of error occurred, could not reserve bike. The app is so trash that one time I relaunch the app because it’s about to take 2 years to reserve a bike, I opened the app to see a reservation made to a bike that is no where near me. I couldn’t cancel that reservation because there’s some error so I walked instead, again. Also the past two miraculous times when it worked, the app showed there was an issue reserving the bike, but the bike unlocked. When I locked the bike I had to relaunch the app to finish the trip. For some background, I live in the heart of a major US west-coast city where Jump and Lime are the two bike-sharing services available. I’ve always been a fan of Jump and never used Lime because a) the bike design is better and they are all electric b) Jump didn’t require a $10 minimal recharge c) it’s free to unlock in my city. (Since I mainly use bike-share for short distance, quick travel, Lime’s $1 unlocking fee really isn’t at all ideal. (Most of my trips are between $.90 to $1.80) It’s a shame. I loved Jump bikes and having the electric power made going up the crazy city hills so much easier. But all in all, I still owe it to Uber for ruining Jump because I now own a bike and can quickly get to places for free. So there’s that! Thanks for trashing another service Uber! You never fail my expectation just like the last time how you made me realize I should only ride with Lyft :D

Took a bike out, there was no electric assist. Locked it, got charged. Tried to report a broken bike, the Submit button is inactive despite me providing all the information. Not impressed! The service is good when all is well though.

Quickly and easily book a bike in the app, use the map to find a bike, and unlock the bike to fly through the city like superwoman.

Best electric bike ever,,,, it would be much better if you do by minutes instead by hour
