Our Simply Safe is a couple of months old and we are still trying to get the cameras to operate properly; especially the door bell one. Evidently with the kind of door bell chimes we have, the battery isn’t strong enough to carry the load for both the bell and camera. Going to get an electrician out to fix the problem. Not sure what else is going on but some of the other cameras seem to be operating on low battery. The thing I do not like is that to check camera status live, the app takes too long to load to see quickly what is going on in that moment. We are hoping to get the bugs worked out soon. I do like the camera features with the ability to communicate to the individual on camera.

It has taken all afternoon and still not done. No direction for connecting the doorbell.

Recently my camera video from the front doorbell will not show a complete video. Sort of defeats the purpose of having the system if video cannot be viewed. This has been a consistent problem since I’ve had the system for over a year now.

One of the best investment we made in security alarm system after trying few other products. SimpliSafe is easy to install and easy to operate and monitor from our mobile devices from anyhere. We are loving it. We feel safe with simply safe.

Why on earth would it forget your identity, by design, every 30 days? I have a family account. My wife’s phone is the phone on the account. It texts her to verify her identity, which is required when I need to log back in after 30 days. Naturally, it happens when I need remote access to the security system but don’t have access to my wife’s phone. It is idiotic to have that level of security. Completely unnecessary and incredibly inconsistent.

I’ve been a customer since 2017 and enjoy the service and peace of mind from the system. However, the developers need to change the annoying and potentially dangerous requirement to re-log in to the app periodically. Twice in the past two months the app would alert me for an event (someone at door) and when I tap to see, I have to go through a two-step login process. While I appreciate efforts to protect my account, when there’s a break-in at my home time is of the essence and this is NOT the time to spend two minutes logging in to see what’s going on. Please fix this; mine and my family’s physical safety is more important than the security of the app. Change the login to use Face ID instead; this literally could save lives.

I really like all SimpliSafe products. The only issue I have experienced is with the “auto” night vision on the door bell camera. The auto night vision does not work. I have to go into the settings each time on the app to turn it on manually. Would be nice if simplisafe could look into a fix for this issue. I am assuming that it is an app problem and not the actual door bell camera.

If you do not have SimpliSafe then I highly recommend getting it!! Easy Set Up, Great App interface and absolutely spot on Service!!!

The system does exactly what it says it will do, and offers independent-convenience. Top clarity in cameras, precision motion detecting, and easy set up. 5/5 without a doubt!
