Login required at worst possible times! – SimpliSafe Home Security App Review

I’ve been a customer since 2017 and enjoy the service and peace of mind from the system. However, the developers need to change the annoying and potentially dangerous requirement to re-log in to the app periodically. Twice in the past two months the app would alert me for an event (someone at door) and when I tap to see, I have to go through a two-step login process. While I appreciate efforts to protect my account, when there’s a break-in at my home time is of the essence and this is NOT the time to spend two minutes logging in to see what’s going on. Please fix this; mine and my family’s physical safety is more important than the security of the app. Change the login to use Face ID instead; this literally could save lives.
