We just received our system on December 20, 2021. We have it all set up including an indoor camera, and the customer support team was fantastic. Walking us through every step to make sure that it was set up properly and connected to our Wi-Fi. Love it love it love it. Triple Crown 2007
Peace of Mind That Won’t Break the Bank

My husband and I originally signed up for ADT. That was until we read the fine print and realized we’d be stuck in a 3 year contract at $65/month and we wouldn’t ever own any of the equipment. We’d have to pay 70% of what was left of the contract amount if we terminated early. We immediately canceled within the lousy 3 day cancellation period granted. Overall it was shady marketing by ADT and instead we looked to SimpliSafe. The equipment seemed to offer the same protection - if not better - and we could afford more sensors to cover the house than what we’d be able to with ADT. We like the flexibility of not being stuck in a contract and the option to self monitor. We also liked that the SimpliSafe hub has a backup battery should the power go out. The cameras work great, even in the -20 degree weather we’ve been experiencing lately! Could not recommend SimpliSafe enough!

Simplisafe charged my card without my authorization on 11/18 and 11/21. I called their support on 12/7 to learn about these fraudulent charges. Support agent instead of helping me and refunding the charges just said "weird" 3 times. He said they can't help. I told him to delete all my credit card info as well as my personal info, agent confirmed that he did. After I hung up, I noticed Simplisafe charged me again! I kept getting emails from them saying I have an account. This company is not compliant with privacy laws at all. They are making unauthorized charges as they wish. Be aware that once you give your information to them or if they get your info from somewhere as in my case you will face unauthorized charges and your personal data will be used unlawfully.

We love the entire SimpliSafe system. The app and the key fob make it super easy to set even once you leave the house. We prefer it to traditional alarm systems. There is also monitoring just like with a traditional system. We are hooked on SimpliSafe!

I have used version 1 and now version 2 of the Simplisafe system. Overall it has worked very well, but the app could use a little love. It frequently signs out and requires you to re-logon before you can use it. This wouldn’t be so bad except it doesn’t allow password apps like 1Password or Lastpass to connect and it doesn’t allow biometric login from the smartphone. With this many years under their belt, I’m extremely surprised neither feature is added. It would be so nice to be able to quickly get in when I come home from work instead of sitting in my car while I look up my complex password just to disarm my house.

This is a very functional app that would be an easy 5-star platform if it weren’t for the fact that I get logged out constantly. I’d say 80% of the time I try and access the app I have to log back in, which seems to have only been an issue within the past couple of months. When I first because when customer and started using the app it would keep me logged in indefinitely. It’s a minor issue I know, but annoying nonetheless. Alas, it’s still a solid app.
