I am a IT veteran and installed all kinds of electronics in my career including security and camera systems. I had so so expectations of a system that was ‘self installed’. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of equipment and install ease of the product. It just ‘works’ and is so configurable. I have had the system about six months now and it has been flawless. The app is good and easy to use from anywhere. I would highly recommend this product!

If you are thinking about a security system this is it! Don’t make a mistake and purchase any other! The equipment price is right and the monthly fees are reasonable. The system is very easy to use without the glitches and faulty alarms! After 6 months of use we are very satisfied. We have had other systems this is the best rated best service!

I’m very pleased with my set up. I was able to figure out my needs for security. Installation was so easy! And the monitoring is terrific! Very affordable!! Love it and recommend!!
App Has Too Frequent Log Outs

This is a comment on the app only. It logs you out too frequently which is very inconvenient!! The service is great. Products are quality, apart from the doorbell camera which will never stay calibrated correctly.

I love the app i have no problem with anything i like that this company alerts you when anything happens the one thing i don’t like is that the door locks only allow up to 4/5 pins it would be nice to have atleast up to 8 pins and temporary pins would be nice like if you have a friend or a guest that comes and your not home it would be nice to have that feature so then they don’t use your own pin this would be nice to have

This is the one you want. Needs a good bandwidth, but otherwise acceptable. Don’t really need monitoring, but is helpful for extended vacations. Requires year round Wi-Fi. So cost is additional with monitoring cost.
Customer Service

The SimpliSafe security system is very good and the customer service is outstanding. Recently one of my outdoor camera battery was discharging very rapidly and I called to see if there might be a replacement option. I was offered a new battery at no cost and two 25’ power cords at 60% off so I could have the cameras constantly charged. The customer service agent was Crystal Allen and she couldn’t be more helpful. As I said before, the system is great, and the customer service is even better. Thank you!
