Don’t buy this service.... Lounges do not honor it

This review has nothing to do with the app but with the actual service. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SERVICE. If you get it with the Chase Reserve Card then take it as you would free trinkets at a work conference. I have traveled over 10 times and have been only been able to use it once. Either the airports do not have a lounge or even the more frustrating part, they refuse to let you in a lounge. The lounges do not want to let you in with the priority pass and can’t wait to tell you that “sorry we aren’t allowing Priority Pass Cards right now, come back in 3 hours”. This has happened to me and my wife multiple times. If this is a deciding factor between the Chase Card or the Platnium Amex, the Amex customer service is beyond superior. If you try to call Priority Pass Customer Service, good luck getting someone on the phone. I spent 15 minutes on the phone listening to a recording that just kept repeating itself and was never able to get anyone on the phone. If you pay for a luxury service, people will have basic expectations that the service will actually work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, forget luxury part, the basic service can not deliver.

This app is a total “why bother?” It locks me out EVERY time and I am totally unable to log in. You expect better service for a membership you pay top dollar for.

Logs me out every time I close the app. On top of this the priority pass service is about worthless if you travel domestically. If you get this as a “perk” of a credit card sign up prepare to be disappointed by the service and the app your money helps fund as they seemingly do not care about making it functional.


App Crashed Hard and Permanently

The last update I did at least a few months ago crashed hard. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but the app will not open. The App Store shows another update is available but will not install on the phone. I've checked back periodically to see if the problem is fixed but it's not. Reading other reviews, it appears the app developers are aware there's a problem but resolving it is evidently out of their league since the problems persist and the app is unusable.

So they cannot update an existing account with a new card number. I even called support and endured the painful annoying hold music. Me: I have a new card number. I have an existing userid that I want to update to use this new number. PP: we have no way of doing that. You will have to create a new userid with the new number. Me: but I have grown used to my userid. Well, that account is dead since the card associated with it is expired. Can you simply delete the dead account so I can reregister with it? PP: we can’t do that. You will have to use another username. TLDR: to save you time, I’ll summarize what you have to look forward to. you’ll get bad crackly hold music at too high a volume, and a series of “can’t do that” for very basic account maintenance requests. Smh


App is worthless

Pointless and worthless until I can get a digital card. Seems like some people don’t have issues with this, but never have been able to access my digital card. Keep hoping each new update will allow me to, but no such luck.

Frankly I don't understand why people have been punishing this app so badly. Instructions are easy to follow, app is quite sophisticated and if you know how to operate a smartphone then this is very simple to use. It also gives you a digital version of your plastic card with a QR code. So far everything is great, super happy with priority pass. Thanks for the ease of use.

I just requested to know my username and a password reset so I’m certain they are correct but the app tells me they are incorrect when I try to login. iPhone X optimization is long past due. Not sure if this is fixed in latest release, but I have PP via Amex Platinum and CSR and it’s frustrating not being able manage both through a single PP account.
