Poorly designed

Not a great update. Removed the favorite lounges section, which was useful for frequent travelers with poor memories. Don’t like that I have to download lounge updates. Having a help tab in the bottom of your app feels like an admission that it’s poorly designed. All I need in this app is a favorited lounges section, updated and detailed info on lounges, my digital card, and a search function that ideally uses my location to surface the nearest lounges. No need to overcomplicate things. Also, for those saying credit cards don’t give a digital membership card, this isn’t true. I have my membership through the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and I have a digital Priority Pass membership card.

App can’t remember login details after a crash or force-quit. You have to log in every single time. Also won’t display your membership ID number, or digital pass for that manner. That’s on QA, roll back guys. Also it seems like the offline-cached model has been removed so now everything needs a data connection to be accessed? That is absolutely terrible considering how users will often be roaming. Unless I’m misreading this, and the load/lag suggests I’m not, the product manager should question their life utility. The previous app was solid guys, you don’t have anything too complicated here. Want a cool new feature to add? Give us a history of our stays for fun, don’t remove stuff.

Now I can't see when was the last time I was charged by using the lounge, plus I need to remember each one of my users since that option was removed. Thanks for nothing.

No more closest lounge feature. Can’t just search for a lounge at an airport without specifying terminal, which adds steps. Seems like a step backwards

Downgraded after "up"date

The update is a downgrade to the app performance. Marking a lounge as "favorite" was huge when traveling without reliable access to internet. It's now gone. No option to mark a lounge. The app is essentially a glorified web page now. Roll back!

After six years membership, I accidentally upgraded the app to the most recent version, only to be met with a log-in query I couldn't answer. Now an online account is needed and if you don't have it, you'll need to have your welcome letter which supposedly include a PIN. Or you can call their customer service. I don't use their lounges often, but it occasionally open doors, so I'll keep the old version of the app on my iPad. Bad upgrade, no cookie!
