Orders don’t make it half the time

Orders don’t make it to my house half the time and customer service gives $10 credit but $35 order minimum. Doesn’t cover the time I spent shopping on the app.
Horrific experience

When the app worked properly I loved it, it was as super convenient during a pandemic...until it began to cancel my orders and lock my account for absolutely no reason. They took my money and told me I had to wait 24 hours for an update by email. I asked to be transferred to the “escalated team” she kept referring to and she said they didn’t have live agents available to speak to me in that department. The department that’s holding my money and account hostage doesn’t have line agents. So I’m stuck waiting 24 hours to get my money back and had to go out and spend more money and stop working to get my kids diapers and wipes. I am done. I will be requesting a refund for this membership bc I’ve experienced this multiple times with no explanation. It’s unacceptable.

My only problem with the app is continuing to get locked out my account and having to wait for verification and repeating the same steps. Other than that, delivery was good and got all I ordered.

I have given up on using Instacart, as the app will not give me a choice of stores. I’ve asked for Customer Support - no response. I have searched the site to get my list of stores, no luck. It gives me one store only, a grocery store which I use, but I think it will now be better to risk going shopping myself. The Instacart shoppers have been wonderful, but I don’t want to be limited to one grocery store. Also noted several reviews noting price/cost inflation - never even suspect that but another negative. Sniff

I have health issues that make me vulnerable to the effects of this pandemic. This service has been priceless. I have yet to have a shopper who wasn’t kind and thoughtful. I am so grateful for Instacart.
