I’ve tried using Instacart twice and both times were awful. The first time I used it, I ordered from BJ’s Wholesale. I had to order at least $30 worth of stuff to get to a promotional free delivery. The shopper only picked the light items and left the two cases of bottled water that I had ordered, claiming they were out. Upon calling the store, I was informed that they had two full skids of the bottled water right out front of all the bottled water. I was told I was going to receive a credit to use next time and that this type of thing never happens. Today, I used the app again to order some things. I literally ordered 2 packets of taco seasoning, 2 seasoning shakers, a container of raspberries, a bag of carrots, and two things of fresh spaghetti. What I received was a bag of carrots and a container of raspberries. The shopper literally only went 20 feet into the store. I finished the job I was doing and ran over to the store during the incoming snow storm. (I literally only tried it again because I was fixing a fence and prepping my snowblower. ) The store had everything that the shopper said they didn’t have except for the fresh pasta. I took pictures of everything and emailed Instacart. I spoke to an associate over the phone once again. I was told they would give me a credit for the next time. I asked for a supervisor and was told one would call me back soon. As of 4 hours later, no call. They charged me a service fee that they are refusing to refund even though they acknowledge that they didn’t provide the service I was paying for.

I will never use Instacart ever again because I have one specific shopper who said they delivered my food at a specific time and a date and I never received my order. Then when I go to Instacart customer service and I speak to them and I word my opinion to them. Telling them what happened to me they give me a hard time. That was $153 worth of food that was taken out of me and my child's mouth all because Instacart decided to sit there and go with your shopper and not give me back my money.

I ordered with Instacart today for the first time. The App told me at 1:30 pm that my groceries would be delivered by 6:50 pm. It’s now 8:00 pm and the App is telling me my groceries should arrive by 10:30 pm. This is unacceptable and beyond ridiculous. I chatted with customer support and they are not helpful on any level. While I don’t fault them, they only give scripted responses and have no authority to do anything. I will never use this service again.

Dear Instacart, I just wanted to thank your company and delivery personnel for the delivery you made from Huntington to Crown City on 11/16/22. I live in Florida and have family with invalid and elderly members who live in Crown City. They have a very difficult time getting out to get groceries. Your delivery to them has given me peace of mind that they won't go hungry during the snow coming in this week. I can't thank you enough!! Sincerely, Jenny Gilmore

I’ve had so many shoppers steal my orders and so many times I put in a order & it doesn’t arrive till 2-3 days later! Customer service never helps and some a so rude. It’s such a great idea for an app but executed so wrong. I wanna talk to a manager asap but nobody will transfer me or call me back.

Pictures of half of the product do not load. It is super annoying to keep closing app completely and then reopening.

I just used this for the first time and I’ll never use it again. I shopped at shoprite. There are 2 locations by me and you can’t select which one you want to shop from. Of course my order came from the location that never has items in stock. Majority of my order was replaced with things I didn’t want or refunded, so now I’ll have to run out to the other location anyways to get the things I’m missing. There are so many things wrong with this service. The prices of items are more than they are in store, plus they charge a service fee at check out. My shopper couldn’t find my house because the app pinned my location somewhere completely different than my actual address. My address was correct in the delivery section, but they had her go to a random business office not even close to me. And you can’t change where the pin it set. Shopper was understanding and we were able to get her here, it’s not her fault the app is garbage.

Insisted I provide ID for NON alcoholic beverage and further told me she would return my order. First of all, I’m 74 and haven’t been proofed in 50 years. Second I didn’t have proof available so she was taking my order back! My wife heard to commotion and got her wallet. You really need to get you act together. Proof for NON alcoholic beverages?? I will make sure everyone is forewarned about this imbecilic “policy”
