App never works

Every.single.time, the app says it cannot find the mug. I reset the mug, re-pair it, etc. such a frustrating experience - come on guys! seems like this should be an ex fix. Great product but terrible experience.

I read the reviews before I got my cup and was expecting to have connectivity issues with the cup and phone but after attempting to “make” it have issues it never happened. The app is plain and straight forward. I could not judge having multiple cups atm I have only 1. I always have Bluetooth issue on my unlocked iPhone X but not with this app and cup so ??♂️
Refuses to connect

Worked for a few weeks and now can’t connect to the mug. You can even connect under Bluetooth connections but the app doesn’t recognize that Bluetooth is on or connect to the device. Waste of money.

Mug works sometimes, sometimes not. Pairing has to be redone often. Currently mug won’t pair and won’t charge. It thinks it’s full of coffee even though it’s bone dry. Very disappointing.

Total frustration with the Ember mug. The charging plate went completely out after just a couple of weeks!

Don’t buy this mug - it’s really buggy and customer support will ignore you until you shame them on Instagram.

Hard reset and app uninstall and reinstall helps. Also don't forget if it can't find your mug, power on and hold logo until it unpairs, then repair. Ceramic mug app update and now travel mug will not pair.

I wasted $79 on a useless cup in spite of Time magazine’s product of the year inclusion. It is frustrating to use and frankly it’s now just one more cup on my rack. Don’t waste your money. I did.
Awesome but two small issues

Love this product and the wonderfully zen like simple app interface but the app has two issues. (1) Every so often the units switches to Celsius when selecting a saved temperature setting. (2) Very often the app doesn’t get beyond the select your mug view until I quit the app and reopen.
