Wonder product and the app performs well!

Wonder product and the app performs well! Great experience all around. Purchased one as a gift and they rated it a 10!

Doesn’t work

Can’t connect via blue tooth, so this is just an expensive small coffee mug

Works good

I haven’t had any problems connecting to the mug or it keeping my settings. My two complaints are the mug charging coaster and the color choice in the app. The coaster is an old design and with wireless charging being very popular they should have explored that concept more. The color choice that you choose is only shown for about 2 seconds. When you pick it up empty and when it’s empty later on. The charging light is red, charged is green, warming up is white.

Decent but not great

Beverages stay hot for the most part. I have mine set for the maximum temperature of 145 degrees and more times than not it automatically resets itself to 130 degrees but you don’t know that until it’s too late. Cup doesn’t hold enough liquid - needs to be bigger. App doesn’t always connect to mug. Cup says it’s ceramic but it feels like plastic or metal.

Short battery life

I like my coffee at 135 degrees. Both the travel mug and cup have too short of a battery life. I’m able to use the cup and saucer because I rest the cup on the saucer occasionally throughout the morning to keep it charged. I tried the travel mug but it dies too quickly so I went back to using my Thermos brand travel mug which keeps it warmer longer.

Horrible - don’t waste your money

I’m more and more convinced that Ember is a Giant Scam with each update to the app. They have still made no attempt to remove the need to create an Ember account in order to use the mug that you paid for. Thus, I have still not been able to use my mug. The app/product is still Total Garbage. There is absolutely no technical reason to require an account to control a Bluetooth coffee mug but yet you can’t use their app without al creating an account. Note that they even ask to access your location information. I wonder how much money Ember is making selling what should be private information on their customers. There is no warning label on the box saying that you have to create an account and give Ember access to your personal information in order to be able to use the product. Save yourself a lot of grief - don’t buy this mug!

App is Horrible

I set the temperature for 145 degrees and every single time I use my mug it automatically reverts back to 130 degrees for some reason. The reason for buying this mug is so that I can control the temperature. Why is it always reverting back to 130 degrees?

Why??

shsh1103

My mug is not empty but why is this keep saying it’s empty and it won’t keep the temperature!!
