Mug failed, customer support silent

A few months into my use of the mug it stopped working altogether. No reply from customer service. Nice idea but they obviously do not have everything figured out yet. Too bad, great idea.

When I saw the new black Ember mug I was extremely happy! Of course, it only makes sense to have the color black so you don’t see all the coffee and tea stains. But then I thought, I don’t want to have to buy a new one, but I sure would love to have that black mug! Would the company ever consider giving the loyal, trusting, first model buying customers a discount coupon to buy the black one?? That would make you a five star company in my opinion! What say you, Ember?

App no longer connects to the mug. Spent way too much time with factory reset, Bluetooth off/on, cycling power phone and mug etc. It just doesn’t work. Also the mug has a very uncomfortable handle.

This app and mug combination is great when it works. But is there some secret for getting the app to reconnect to the mug through Bluetooth? Do I have to restart everything just to keep my coffee warm. Please reply with instructions or an update that works. Very frustrating.

Cool product, bad connectivity

I have both the ceramic and travel mug which I love - when they work. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times because it will no longer recognize my mugs. Really, when the app isn’t working, I’ve just overpaid for a mug and thermos. -_-

Great idea; unreliable app

I tried this out for two months and enjoyed using it mostly on weekends when I can linger over my coffee. However, I have the same problem as previous reviewer— app will not consistently pair up with mug. I have to reload the app and reset the mug often. I also agree that the battery life is too short to be functional. Going back. Not worth 90 bucks.

The app often loses the Bluetooth connection to the mug, and it’s a real pain to reconnect the two. Please fix this!!!

Kelly is Back!

With kindness, but also truth, I have to share that this is probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. The connection is horrible between my mug and app. I would say it works 30% of the time. Very dissatisfied.
