Battery life abysmal

I keep hoping a firmware update will extend the battery life. Right now, I can have a coffee/tea every 3 hours only.
App works nicely, wish there was a widget

The app is nice, easy to set up, and easy to use. Where it kind of falls off is its lack of a widget. A widget would make checking and setting temps so much easier and faster than opening the app. Think about it guys! You get your coffee in the morning, the last thing you think about is swiping to some obscure page on your home screen, finding the ember app, then opening the app just to set the temp for your drink. A widget lets you do all of that from the lock screen! ;)

Very user-friendly app. Simple, not cluttered, which makes it very easy to navigate. Instructions are easy to follow and the app is interactive.

App leaves a bit to be desired however really what do you want an app that sets your cup’s temperature to do? It does what it is designed to do and in an office setting I have yet to have to connect my phone to the cup more than once. Great design on the cup great idea. Just wanting something more within the app...no sure what but something more.

I love my ember mug! It keeps my coffee nice and warm in the morning and just kind of nicely fades into the background. It’s almost a set-it-and-forget-it kind of thing. My biggest complaint is the app. The app has a few issues. First, I’m not sure if this is an app or hardware issue exactly, but the mug doesn’t seem to remember temperature settings between uses. I have to manually open the phone app and set the temperature (which, if it’s on “heater off” mode, you can’t tap a preset. You have to manually slide it over to the temp you want). It would be great if it would default to my last used temperature when I fill the mug. Second, the Apple Watch app doesn’t work unless my phone is unlocked when I open it. This kinda defeats the utility of the watch app entirely since I end up needing to have my phone out anyway. Lastly, I often don’t receive notifications when my mug has reached my set temperature, despite having notifications enabled for the app. If these issues could be fixed, the mug would be perfect! Ember, please fix your app!

I see Zero reason to require an app and a sign in for a warming mug. This is a perfect example of an unnecessary IOT.

I love this app!! It's so easy to customize your temperature and so easy to navigate. My favorite feature is the tea timer. I'm guilty of over steeping my tea and this times it perfectly for that perfect taste and temperature.
Life changing for hot beverage drinker!

My son offered me this cup for my birthday as I am an all day lingering tea drinker. I love the concept and enjoy my tea at constant temperature until the last drop. I only regret that temperature allows for 62.5 degrees centigrade maximum . I prefer drinking my tea at 65 degree therefore it is not fully hot enough for me. But I am sure that the majority of the people do not drink as hot as I do and being able to keep my tea at a reasonable temperature instead of drinking cold tea makes a huge difference. The cup feels nice to the touch and looks sleek. The app is easy to set up and enjoy!
