Overall a good personal backup solution

The app is generally easy to navigat; however, on iOS it only allows for backup of photos and video. On Android the ability to upload files saved is also available but sadly lacking on the iOS version. Given the propensity to deal with digital only signing of documents these days, being able to copy off and store privately is also important, on iOS this requires the additional step now of transferring the document to another device to then be able to upload to My Cloud storage.

On my way to write this review due to how ticked off i am currently, the review that came up first was my exact issue. So i thought well Ill give it a read... To the T my issue. So i thought, well maybe its a bug issue with this update, then I SEE ITS FROM THREE YEARS AGO...HOW. HOW 3 YEARS LATER IS THIS STILL AN ISSUE. WTH In short, works at home, but cannot use anywhere else. So its a back up local storage at best. Not what i Purchased it for. again WD...how
Playing music NO SHUFFLE OR AUTOMATIC PLAY

When playing music it does not give you the option to shuffle the music or automatic play. You have to manually select the next song. what kind of generic crap is this? UGH !!! ? So instead of me sitting back and enjoying my company I have to actually sit at the iPad or any playing device and manually select the song as opposed to letting the music shuffle automatically or play automatically don’t waste your time not a good app

So this app is ok but it runs out of space quickly... and I delete as many useless photos as possible but it still says backup your iCloud it is full. And to get more storage, you have to pay. This is not good I’m out of space and we have to pay. I don’t like that. My feedback is to add more space to iCloud so we don’t have to pay for more space every few months.

But not as reliable as a regular server. But for the price you can’t complain. Being able to access your data from a network away from the one it’s on is hit or miss usually. But for storage of videos and music so you don’t have to keep them on your laptop or phone is really handy. If it would connect on foreign networks it would have 5 stars.

Waste of a hardware (MyCloud device) and app as well. Cannot upload multiple photos to the device. Have to do it in batches which is a waste of time when you have about 10k images on your mobile. Spent 2 days trying to do it but still did not work properly. Tried to get some support but there was no response. Have not been able to upload my photos from my iPhone even after 1 year. App needs to be open all the time to upload the images which is a drain on the phone battery. Also there is no user friendly interface to view the files in the device (not like a normal plug and play external hard drive). Would have been good if it works like that as well.

I have used this program for years and find it provides basic options and often backups poorly. Now my device is constantly in quarantine since hackers apparently are trying to access it. I use other clouds that are more user friendly.

Sometimes when I’m on the computer I can not connect..,, but when on the app , whether home or away, it always connects! Love it!
Backup from iPhone to My Device no longer works.

This app is broken. My wife and I both have this app installed on our iPhone iOS version 14.4. The backups of photos from iPhone to My Device no longer works. It stopped backing up since October 2020 for me. For my wife’s iPhone, it stopped backing up since December 2020. It used to work for both of us very smoothly. We do not see any error or warning messages so not sure what is going on. The app is still broken. Doesn’t auto not manual upload my iPhone photos to my drive.
