Back button resets where you were

Seems it should take you back you where you were and not to the first folder. This is a pain if you have many folders.

The app says the auto upload will work faster if the app is left open. Which is true. But if the app isn't open, I don't think auto photo upload works at all. That could use some improvement. Maybe there could be a setting that if the battery is above a certain level, it will auto-upload the photos even with the app closed. Other than that, I really like both the app and my My Cloud. One other thing that would be nice - if I'm scrolling through the photos, when I tap on a pic to see it, when I go back to the list, the app takes me all the way back to the beginning of the list, instead of back to the place I was. So then I have to scroll all the way through all the listed pics to get back to where I was looking. Kind of a pain, because I usually have no idea where i was since you can’t see thumbnails of the pics in the list (thumbnails would be nice). Also, it might be nice if it would show an extra low res pic initially. I know you can tap on the HD button to get the full quality, but even the mid-range quality pics take a long time to display, even with a pretty fast device and connection. So the problem is that if you are trying to scroll through pics to find one, it takes forever because there aren’t any thumbnails to help you find the pic, and it takes so long to load each individual pic one by one that it takes forever.

All .HEIC pictures won’t show. Please fix it! Also, it’s a headache that every time after you click a picture it always goes back to the beginning of the list.

I have been uploading my pictures when I check to see if they’re in the album I selected them in, but they’re not there. So I’m not exactly sure where they are, the app is good for the most part though

I love mycloud hard drive but this ap has left items to be desired. For one it doesn’t always back up all my photos forcing me double check all the time. It should have a visual thumbnail of the backups as they are happening. Similar to the way google photos and or amazon prime photos apps operate. Also you should be able to see thumbnails of your items stored on you mycloud hard drive rather than having to click on each one. I know there is more that should be improved but that’s all I have for now. If you start with this it will be a huge improvement.

Constantly crashes when trying to share folders via the email app link. What good is the server app if I'm not able to email links while on the go?!

I bought this system to back my IPhone to and cannot Access the pictures and videos remotely. Terrible customer service and after installing it , I get a message saying that the info I have entered does not apply. I gave it one star because it’s okay to load pictures to but not access.

I love my MYCLOUD. Instant access to all my files from wherever. This app looks and works great! Unfortunately, the desktop app does not have a search bar as simple to - use or even present - like the mobile app does. If you snap from one app to another on the iPhone you will usually suspend any transfers you were making to the my cloud. I would like to see a VIDEO and RECENT PHOTOS button for the mobile app to make uploading new additions easier.

It's too hard to setup; too hard to use; short window to get their support (60 days); after that, you are on your own. Good program software is intuitive for the average person. This program is so confusing, it's impossible to setup & use. One major problem, cannot share any photos. After spending a huge amount of time, I was told by WD to call my wifi provider; "the problem was with them"! REALLY? Told me they don't care what I do with My Cloud after I bought it! The thing is just gathering dust now. I’m going back to seagate. If you are thinking of purchasing, reconsider.
