Need alternative to VLC

Cannot use VLC to stream content from my cloud. It closes the stream as soon as it tries to open them.

I have been using this app for a couple of years now and have had very few problems with it. I connect to my home server even while traveling.

Prehistoric app, probably will be returning the hardware as well. I feel more grief than satisfaction trying to use it. It’s full of bugs.
Loses connection to iPhone occasionally.

Generally this is a great app that I keep running on my iPhone. Sometimes from one day to the next it stays connected just fine and other days it either shows an error or just a blank screen. To fix it I either have to kill the app and restart or I click on Download and then back to normal screen and it works. Just a pain.

Unable to connect to the drive when not on my home network. Works fine at home, but 49 times out of 50 I can not connect to the drive to view files from a different WiFi network or cellular.

Although I have been using the app for years without fail, just recently it has started to bug out and refuse to connect to my NAS. I have tried to restart the NAS, switch the network port, and, have tried to reinstall the app and log in and out multiple times. Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because I’m going to upgrade this soon with their upgrade program and the app had worked reliably for years and served its purpose.
Can no longer share photos to mypassport wireless pro

The whole reason I got MyPassport Wireless Pro was to backup photos from my ipad and iphone- I used to be able to share from photos to MyCloud and arrange into arrange into albums, but now it longer says my drive is online when I try to share it to MyCloud, despite the fact I know it’s online as I can even access it from my laptop vis wifi without connecting it via usb. Using autobackup feature backs up everything randomly and I can’t find things amongst tens of thousands of media files without sorting through an endless jumble. This app used to work, but no longer does, and I regret ever buying a MyPassport Wireless Pro!

Please make it so we can do the multiple select when we want to put the pictures/videos back (from WD my cloud) to camera roll (iPhone, ipad). (Currently, we can only put one (at a time) picture or one video back from WD my cloud home to iPhone, or ipad). ** OneDrive does have the feature of multiple select and save the pictures/videos back from OneDrive to Camera Roll ** With this lacking (above), I would give only 2 stars for this app. I would give 3 stars for the hardware (I bought one 4TB, two 8TB; had to return one 8TB for the replacement (free from warranty). Excellent replacement warranty (5 years); I would give 5 stars for the warranty service and the customer support.

I’ve been using MyCloud for years. It’s not updated enough by the company. It make backing up your photos from my phone east, BUT, when it uploads the photos/videos. The date of the upload is the dat if the file, not when it was take. PLEASE UPDATE this issue. It didn’t used to be this way at one point. Thank you.
