I had this drive for a couple of years and I never managed to make the wireless connection work. It’s just slow, gets stuck. Waste of money. I can only use it as external drive which is like whatever. Also on that, if the battery is zero it won’t even work .. just a low quality product

When I filled my Apple Cloud Storage, they wanted me to pay monthly. After a little research I purchased 4 terabyte storage that solve the problem for many years. It did give me an issue on connecting at one point but with the update that was solved. My wife and I back up everything with no problem. 4 terabyte is a lot of space for this point in time, I’m sure in the future with technology that will change! The plus is in the other cloud storage if they go down so does your data and you have no access. Mine is always available and be corrected easily through the web site.

I live when I can connect to my home cloud. But half the time it is unavailable for god knows why. I switched to actual cloud back up.

Does not work when I am home or on the road. The point of a cloud is to have access and play a video or look at photos, this product does not allow you to do either. Maybe it is because I’m a Apple user and it only works with PC’s… not sure. The one thing I am sure of is this product (app,network,hardware) stinks.

I took a WD My Passport Wireless to Afghanistan with me loaded up with movies and music along with an iPad. I was able to get it set up in our tent and everyone in my tent could watch movies and listen to music wirelessly. This device is amazing.

I bought this personal cloud storage to replace Dropbox but this app is useless and nothing compared to Dropbox when it comes to reliability and ease of use.
