Dog-centric, forces you to rate/tip before seeing report card or checking on your pet

If you are using this service for cat sitting using the drop-in feature it is not optimal. It doesn’t let you navigate away from the rate/tip screen to see the report card. I’d you are away and aren’t able to immediately check on your pet, you don’t want to tip until after you’ve verified that everything went smoothly. Also the interface is not very intuitive. I’m not happy with my experience using this app/service.

Use a different service. Wag steals money!

Wag ignores requests for refunds when their walkers “show up” on the app and leave ten minutes into the job because they cannot figure out how to get the keys out of a padlock (someone I know came by and managed to succeed). WHERE IS MY REFUND?! Zero customer service presence when this happens.

I booked a walk caregiver preference and the app changed my dog walker 4 times. And Connor L the last dog walker I spoke informed he would be delayed and guess his never show up. My dog spend 10 hours in the creator without a dog walker I booked. Please do not use this app, do not truste your pet with this company, all dog walker are very irresponsible, all of then new about the situation of my dog in the creator and none of them act with respect for my pet and all of them canceled my walk I book in 24 hours in advanced. And I still waiting to receive my money back. Margaret, connor, Alissa D all of then very incapable of to work with responsibility. Do not use this app

Expect to be spammed with daily notifications to buy wag services with no option to turn it off. What a terrible app!

This app does not allow you to not show ads, so you are left with disabling all notifications, this makes the app freaking pointless.

Wag would like you to believe they care about the well-being of your pet, but once it’s been 30 days since one of their “trusted network of sitters” loses your family member, they tell you any “further support would be redundant.” Do NOT trust your furry family member with any of Wag’s sitters- you will have zero recourse if the worst happens.

Charged you money without telling you!

Don’t use this app! It will charge you money without notifying you!!! I set up a request to board my pups. The person that matched with me lived nearly an hour away in an apartment. Not only was that inconvenient, but I have two large breed dogs who need space to roam so an apartment would not work. I canceled the request with plenty of notice. I was then charged $40 as a cancellation fee. I was never notified about this fee before doing the booking. I did not even get an email or any other notification telling me I would be charged a fee. I just so happened to see it on my credit card statement. I am very upset about this! I will be canceling my account because this is not a way to do business. Don’t be taken advantage of through this app!

Poor customer service

I have been using wag for a couple years now and it has always worked great. I went out of town and a walker lost my house key, which prevented others from checking in and taking care of my animals. Customer support was really good in the beginning about contacting me, but there was no follow up. This happened on a Saturday, I let them know I needed to find a resolution to this case ASAP as I was out of town and they said they would have someone call the next day. No one did. I called the next week and they said they would have someone call me back. It’s been weeks now and no contact. Not only was I fully charged for the walk, I had to pay to get a copy of my key set done again. I was at an important event and the phone calls do deal with this “emergency”, were a large inconvenience. I’m glad I was in a place to pick up the call because I was told if I didn’t and they couldn’t get into my house, they would have boarded my dog overnight (or potentially days until I got back from my trip?) I’m very disappointed in the company.

So far, I haven’t been able to really use wag. The app keeps crashing on me every time I open it, since the last update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the same issue occurs.

HIGH FEES, LONG PAYOUT TIMES

Laugh outlook

Great for getting clientele but the fees are insane. Plus payout is at least a week out.
