App doesn’t work

Try to log in and app keeps crashing. Had to switch to a competitor

just wanted to note on the user interface with the addition of cats. (Really awesome!) I’d just like to see the symbols used to represent the pets match. Right now they’re all just the default dog. Love the app!!

Overcharged me and refuses to refund

I was overcharged $20 by wag in November 2021. They offered to give me a credit. I said I preferred a refund. They supposedly sent the request to that dept. it has been over a month and there is no response from them. They stopped responding to my original request and any new ones. They didn’t credit my account either, so basically they just stole my money. The walkers are great. I wish I could just pay them independently and cut wag out. Since they ripped me off, I’m assuming they rip off the walkers as well.

Ive worked for Wag for a few years now, and took a year long break when Covid hit. Coming back to the app now, I can see its gone really downhill. No customer support, horrid pay scale, greedy company, way more workers than customers.... Wag took payouts from Big Tech conglomerates to sell them our GPS info, thats their main source of revenue now, not dog walking.

App crashes and is unusable

The app crashes as soon as I log in. Already uninstalled and reinstalled it dozens off times. Contacted customer support and they were zero help. I’m still getting charged for a premium service I can’t use because the app doesn’t work.

Company hates there workers

They frequently hire amateur walkers with no experience while at the same time permanently firing seasoned walkers with great ratings. They do NOT care about you as a customer or your dog, they only care about the money. Every time you request a walk chances are you’re going to get a different person each time and most likely it’s an newbie who’s never walked a dog before or maybe just a few. So if you’re looking to put your precious pup in the hands of some random person who may lose your dog, wag is perfect you. Shockingly, the company encourages dishonesty on it’s platform. If that new walker has an accident with your dog and never tells the company, chances are they will never be reprimanded and will continue walking dogs. I have done over 500 successful walks for them with a 4.8 rating and they still fired me because I lost one dog (retrieved it) and told them about it. You can call me a “disgruntled ex walker” all you want, and guess what I would have to agree! I’m pretty disgruntled after walking hundreds of dogs, only getting 60% of the pay, then getting deactivated for no good reason and losing a job that I loved.

Dog did not get walked while i was on a long trip

I will be deleting this app right now. This dog walk was confirmed two days in advance, and then I went on a 3 day hike where i did not have service. Thank goodness I had other dog walkers set up or my dog would have been close to dying. My walk was cancelled because of “missing information,” which I was not informed about until the day of the dog walk. And when I went to see what information was missing, there was nothing missing. UNRELIABLE AND ENDANGERS LIFE OF ANIMALS.
