Unclear App on 1st 50% Off Purchase

TrueNorth.Vans

On my first purchase I used the 50% off Code and did not apply for the items. Then talking with Customer Service they said even if the discount didn’t apply, but used, and could not change the price. The Code was voided and could’ve used again for a actual purchase where it could apply. The app should say under Coupon not to use the Code if it didn’t apply or change the final purchase price. Very disappointed with Customer Service.

False descriptions

True Clothes Lover

I purchase 3 dresses all labeled New with Tags.. True all had tags but were clearly worn .. one of them had two black scuff marks on the bag and all had faded materials.. That was disgusting .. I was under the impression that they were as state as New with tags like I personally own clothes new with tags that I have not worn .. First and last purchase there is nothing to make this right.. except my full refund.. to sell used soiled and badly soiled stained clothes , faded and used as new with tags is disgusting and unacceptable. I will delete rhe app once i get my full refund..

Terrible Idea - Do not waste your time

I sent a big bag of gently worn office clothes (some still with tags) in July. It took 3 months for my bag to be processed. Another month to sell and then pay out per piece was so low that I only made $13 off of the entire bag! I could have put just ONE of those brand new pair of slacks eBay and made $13! Never again. Total rip off.

I’m always so pleased with this app/ store. The process of searching for items is so easy, my orders arrive in perfect condition and quickly, and the return process is simple. Reaching customer service via chat isn’t as easy as I’d like it to be, but certainly nothing that would make me stop shopping there!

Misleading listings and overpriced, damaged products.

AbraxasTrevor

Over the past couple years I have spent a lot of money here but lately it’s been nothing but disappointing. In the photos they hide the damage on items, then the customer has the privilege of paying over $15 to be able to return them. The quality of the fabrics looks great in pictures but in hand are junk. Measurements on the listings are a joke and rarely accurate. Nonexistent customer service and again, the customer always pays a huge price to be able to return anything. If you like buying stuff that will go straight into the trash, thredup is great.

Just OK; kind of disappointed

I was very excited to try this store! I ordered 4 items on my first order. 2 of them were great. One item, a pair of pants, were not the same brand as listed and they were pin stripped when they were listed as solid grey. The other item, a dress shirt, had obvious stains down the front and on a sleeve. I’ve worked at getting the stains out for a week and though they’re better, I can still see them. None of the items were returnable. I’m hesitant to order again because I don’t have faith the item will be correct or stain free.

Love love love this app!!!!

I love using ThredUP! I was not an online shopper because I like to try things on and I pretty much exclusively shop thrift stores. With the no dressing rooms open due to COVID-19, I tried thredUP and I’m totally hooked! All the fun of hunting through a thrift store without leaving home. So easy to use, and with like 99% of clothing items having measurements given (waist/bust/length/inseam) I can be pretty confident on the fit. Buying, selling, returns—all very simple. My one suggestion is that I wish I could filter by bust measurement since there is a lot of variation within S/M/L.

Nice to Thrift from home with Thredup

It would be nice if you could take an additional photo of the inside of the wallets. I think you could sell a lot more of them. That applies to the handbags also.

Ok to shop but not sell

Sent in a box in May....it’s February and they still haven’t processed it. Delays are understandable but the good part of a year to process one bag? Ridiculous.
