I really like shopping on thredup. Much more than Poshmark, not having to pay shipping on every item. But thredup charges $2 to return each item and $9 shipping cost to return. That ads up. Whereas amazon is free to return and no restocking. Just something to consider.

Loved the app but not a single piece of men’s clothing. So I know they won’t have anything for big and tall men. Maybe in the future update

Beyond disappointed in the way they handle their bids...I have used this function multiple times and it occasionally glitches. I called today they told me my cc on file was declined but I called the cc company and they said no such charge had been attempted. Then a sweater I wanted had gone up $20 from my bid to the search I did to buy it once I realized something was wrong. Then customer service magically can’t find it and it sold...all in about the 10 second span of when we were chatting about the issue. Done done done. By the way half the time the stuff you end up with is beat up way more than they advertise. There are much better places to shop!!

ThredUP is actually a consignment app so sellers control the prices not thredUP. I learned this the hard way after buying a SHEIN dress on ThredUP for $17.99 that stated it retailed for $30. Well I came across another SHEIN item I loved but was hesitant on the size so decided to browse SHEIN directly for the same item in a larger size. While browsing SHEIN, I came across the same dress I previously bought on ThredUP being sold NEW for $7.00. Yes, you read that right... Ten dollars cheaper NEW! I contacted ThredUP right away and even sent them screenshots of both items, and that’s when ThredUP informed me that they couldn’t do anything about it because it was the seller of the dress that increased the price. I’m now curious how many other items that I paid more for used then I could’ve new. I am no longer shopping with thredUP. So customers beware of the price gouging!

In my opinion this app is disappointing because I wanted to get a certain accessory but it said it they didn’t have it but my friend got the same accessory that I wanted but when I looked it up it said we do not have the item you are looking for so in my opinion it’s disappointing

I like the New with tags items. Have had to return a few items as to fit or wrong color for me. Usually very pleased with orders

Thredup is easy to navigate. The thorough filters help navigate a huge selection and produces spot on results. Really enjoy this app!

I tried selling clothes to thred up and it took well over 6 months to get any sort of cash back which i never got an email about, I had to continuously check up on it. Not to mention they give you next to nothing for your clothes. I’d rather donate my clothes at this point.
