I love shopping here, but…..

I love the vast selection of clothing options on this website! I love being able to find unique items to add to my wardrobe that no one else has! When I am looking to replace or add an item to my wardrobe, this is the first place I go to to look for amazing items. I love that they have sales and the prices are very affordable too! My only issue is that I have noticed about half of the items I order I have to send back. I buy them based on the measurements posted in the description and when I receive it, it doesn’t fit. I have re-measured the items to see if maybe I’m not aware of my measurements and have found what was posted was off by a few to several inches. It’s very disappointing, however, the good thing is, they do take returns on most items. Other than that issue, when I receive something from them and it works, I get to own a beautiful item of clothing that no one else has or is very rare for someone else to have.

Brand names I could never afford

The New You sale gave me the motivation to start and stay with a healthy exercise and diet regime! I look forward to becoming a well dressed size 8! Thank you thread up!

Lots gone wrong with update

Aagmom

I can’t access tracking on my orders, I can’t get promo codes to load, I’m having to go online and log in to get updates on my current orders and returns. Hoping a new update comes out soon.

Love ThredUp but would love a couple tweaks

A rude and blundering bird

Love ThredUp’s commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices. Have found so many great pieces and had a lot of success selling as well. A few changes I’d love to see them make are: 1.) a way to filter your favorites, 2.) a way to exclude certain brands in a search, 3.) more intuitive/accurate international size conversions, 4.) more accurate/consistent garment specs. With those changes it’s an easy 5 stars!

Love this App

I love using ThredUP! It’s thrifting but you can look up exactly what your searching for, verses running all over the thrift store to find that one piece. If something does not work out, well returns are easy and free besides the 1.99 item restocking fee. (which I would say does not bother me) I would highly recommend using this app you save money, find quality clothing and reduce your carbon footprint.

No complaints yet

Sybil.eve

Just made my 2nd order. I’m super happy with my first order as far as quality. My biggest complaint would be it’s not as cheap as it probably should be, it’s not goodwill prices. Also they don’t update shipping as quickly as I’d like but once it ships it take about 3-4 days ~ ships from Georgia I’m in indiana. But goodwill rarely has designer products, which I don’t buy anyways. The actual item owners are getting pennies compared to the company. Having said that they are 100% up front with that fact should you choose to use them to sell your things. Plus they do all the work and it’s a for profit business unlike goodwill/salvation army etc. because the prices are higher than I spend at the goodwill I’ve made the firm decision to not pay more for anything here that I would pay for in a second hand store. So I will continue to use this app because I can’t find unique items that suite my personal style and pay much less than I would at a vintage shop I’ve also sent the link to a few people which I wouldn’t have done if I thought it was garbage or sold junk. It’s definitely worth a try.

Color

When selecting my handbag I felt like the photograph was very bad! I felt like the picture where photoshopped and the only real picture was the handbag over the mannequin . The colors were vastly different. Very hard to identify the true color. The inside of the handbag should also be photographed so the buy can see the wear and tear on the bag. Lots of room for improvement!

When it worked, it was great

Look I’ll never stop using ThredUp. The company is not the issue here. But this app, this app is just so unpredictable. When it works, it's perfectly fine, even better sometimes than the website but that's not why I preferred it; I used it because it was faster and more convenient and just easier to search than on the site. But suddenly it just wouldn't open! Just loading loading loading for minutes on end, till I would give up and go online instead. I’ve reinstalled it and updated it -- no difference. I don’t know what it is; my phone? But it's not worth it. Just use a browser. And hey, it could be a me problem. Give it a shot but just know that it might stop opening at some point.

Never loads

The app never loads, just stays on the into losing page, no content. I even deleted the app and reinstalled. This tim there’s just the logo and teal background, not even the animation that suggests something is loading.

Something for Everything

I have been using thredUP for 7 years now or so. I’ve bought casual clothes for myself, formal outfits, maternity pieces and things for my kids. I love being able to trade in old clothes as kids grow or styles change and getting quality pieces for a fraction of the original cost. I’ll continue to shop with thredUP for years to come!
