Please ask all Sellers please not to spray clothes with scents. I am allergic as many are and even if I wouldn’t be, one garment I purchased still has a strong musk smell after I double washed it twice and hung it out in the garage to try to air it out, the smell is so strong it reeks and chokes anyone smelling it.

It’s been 5 months since I sent my clothes in, what are you people doing at thread up??? Hire some more folks! This is absolutely ridiculous & forget reaching out to customer service that’s a waste of time. They basically just tell you they are overwhelmed & can’t get the job done!! At least try to make your sellers happy in some way!!! This use to be such a great thing years ago, I don’t know if it changed hands or what happened?? No matter who I’ve talked too (which it’s hard to reach someone) the wait time for processing clean out bags is ridiculously to long I mean I’m at 5 months now!!!!! Where is my stuff thread up????

Make sure you research what you are buying. Items are very frequently overpriced on this app. Like sometimes listed more than if you buy the item brand new. I just purchased a wallet from them. The original tag for the wallet was still in the wallet with a suggested retail price of $19.99. I paid $30 for it through ThredUP. I like buying used items for environmental reasons but I don’t think I will stick with this company.

I tried selling some items on here and it’s a terrible system . The clothes are priced to favor thredUP

I was very disappointed in this site. Anything that is thrift store priced is usually junk. There are items on there that are over $400! I’m pretty sure I’ve never dropped that kind of bank in a thrift store.

I love thrifting and having this app allows me to do it at home! But, the only thing I wish could be changed is that if something had a stain or a tear whatever, that they would show a picture of it so I knew if it was worth it or not. But overall still love this app!

Love getting designer finds second hand or gently used and supporting charity with each purchase. It is also nice building up credit from selling items (when they’re accepting new items).

I really love ThredUP, 98% of my purchases are as described, however I recently purchased a belt and I couldn’t believe what I received. A beautiful gold colored belt BUT there is no way to buckle it. I was in awe that ThredUP would sell something that was disfunctional. Not happy at what I received. An employee should have noticed that the belt did not meet ThredUP’s standards.
