The most optimal parking app I have used wide selection. Explicit instructions very helpful. I always check parking spots with Spot hero first.

Brooklyn lot was full despite paid reservation. I called SpotHero but the lady simply said that she can’t do anything about it except find another lot. That ended being unacceptably far away, plus SpotHero wouldn’t give me anything in return—no compensation, no partial refund, no coupon. Nothing. Only when I refused to move my car (it was blocking the entrance/exit) did the parking attendant finally give in and take the car. He scanned the SpotHero reservation QR code no problem, so I know it was in their system all along. What’s the point of reserving if SpotHero can’t guarantee the reservation?

Great app- saves me a ton of money on parking. That in itself is worth 4 stars. The 5 star rating is for the customer service. They are amazing. If every company had customer service like this the world would be a much better place. I’m a loyal customer for life.

Could not find the parking lot. Poor directions and Waze could not locate it either
disappointed by facebook.
Unhappy that would take money for lot that was not available

Used to love this app. But for some reason they did away with parking reviews. There are multiple reasons why reviews are needed in this app. Tsk tsk tsk. I miss the days when reviews were allowed.

I’ve used SH twice and been disappointed both times. Most recently, I searched for parking in Midtown NYC using the app and found a garage available for $42 for two hours. I needed only 45 mins but I get it. SH has all of my vehicle info stored including its size (Jeep Grand Cherokee), so when it offers a price you would think that the price is accurate. It’s not. When I selected that particular garage, the price went down to $36. Nice, right? Especially since I have a $20 SH credit from the last time I used the app and found that it was dramatically less expensive to park at the same garage without using SH. So when I paid the fee, a heretofore unlisted “oversized vehicle” charge had been added, bumping the total cost to $56. Had I known this was going to happen, I could have selected a garage a little further away from my destination but lower in cost. Deleting the app in 10 seconds.
