I was charged twice. The first one was unsuccessful, so I had to do it again, but they charged me for both.

We used Spot Hero for the first time in NYC over the holidays. Made a reservation in midtown. When we got to the garage, they told me they were full and would not honor my reservation. Spot Hero had already charged my credit card for two nights for approximately $80 ($40 per night). I contacted them and they told me to find another garage. They would reimburse me the difference. I ended up using the valet at the hotel and paid $60 per night ($120 total). I sent them the receipt. Since they had already charged me $80. I expected them to reimburse me $120. Of course not! Instead, they credited my card the $80 and said they would apply the additional $40 to a future parking reservation. I will never see the $40 because I will never use them again. They lied to me about the reimbursement. I don’t deal with dishonest vendors. If they charge your card at the time you make a reservation, you expect the reservation to be honored. What’s the point, especially in midtown Manhattan. Thank you for the canned, uninspiring, and uncaring response to my review. I’m sure your response was truly sincere and heartfelt (not!)

But now prices are double in my city on the app compared to ParkWhiz and sometimes even the in person prices. The customer service says the garage sets the rates but other apps seem to make more of an effort to get good deals while SpotHero is really just a marked up reservation service.
Lot closed when I went to pick up car

The lot was closed for the dayWhen I went to pick up the car.Despite the Apple I need to make the reservation and posted hours and stating it should be Open. Spot hero customer service said they would look into it it never got back to me.Eventually I was able to reach management to pen the lot up and for me but I came close to being stranded in the city with no place to stay! 3 calls and almost no response from spot hero
What is the sense of reservations if they won’t accept up?

Reserved a spot in Indianapolis for the CFP national championship game only to get there and find out the garage doesn’t exist. I couldn’t get a refund because we arrived after the beginning reservation time. Luckily the garage they name checked (not at the correct address or operated by the company they claimed) worked with us and honored the reservation. I won’t use this app again.
