App told me oversized verhicles had surcharge which I am fine with. Arrived at parking and they didnt take oversized verhicles. Tenant told us SH App provides wrong data, even allows bookings when lot is full

Beware of use

Drove up to Chicago, and decided to use the app. Entered all my car info, license plate, drivers license info, etc. paid for three days of parking. I come out the next day to my car missing. Turns out 30 mins after I signed up for my spot, my car was towed. Both companies put the blame on one another, and spot hero refused to give a refund. The towing company forced me to pay for my car and take it up with spot hero. Never in my life have I been met with such poor customer service and experience. I will not only never use this app again, I am now actively advocating against the brand. I will cost you the money you cost me during this experience- and then some. Do not download!!!

Useless service and customer service

I booked this service for the first time and went to the spot only for it be parked in. I called customer service and they basically were useless. The person did not listen to what I was saying whatsoever and they said they can’t control if someone’s in the spots on the app or not. Would not recommend.

I am upset that I got there early and waited 25 mins to be told I didn’t have a spot and now you don’t even refund my money!!! This is ridiculous.

I have use spot hero for many years and it is a great app when it provides you with locations that actually have parking spots. While it used to be a rare occurrence, booking a spot in a garage only to arrive at the destination and be told that the garage is full. Sometimes it has been full all day. The first few times this happened spot hero was more than helpful, refunding my money and finding another spot nearby. However this has now become the norm not the exception. It is well over 10 times now that I have wasted over an hour traveling to a destination that does not have parking available. As a general contractor in New York City I cannot afford to waste my time thinking I have a spot booked when I don’t. I do not think this would be a hard fix simply have a button on the app that the garage attendant can hit when they are full. That’s it, how hard can this be? I will no longer be using this app out of sheer aggravation.

This app works great but it always asks you to rate a garage every time you use it. If it was a new garage then I’ll understand but I go to the same garage everyday and it asks every time I open the app. It’s the worst. There should be a way to opt out of rating garages. I wasn’t able to find this option. I don’t care about the rating, I just want to pay, get in, then get out. I’ve never had to rate a garage when we using the old ticket system. Why is this not frustrating anyone! I paid for parking and now you want my feedback too? Please let us opt out of rating garages.
