Horrific app, sorry support

Kardiac ky

I love it when the volume buttons are merged together but you have to use the app because your IR receiver refuses to work without someone standing 3 inches from the box. This app is horrible and I don't expect it to get any better any time soon.

App needs a lot of help

Dork02

I travel a lot for work and would like to be able access my channels from different locations. The only problems are I constantly receive a message that I'm not on my home network and even if I am, there are very stations that can be accessed thru the app. Don't advertise that you can watch tv from anywhere and then make four, rarely watched stations, available for live viewing.

I may go to DirecTV as a result of this app

To begin with, your log in process is way too long. By the time I'm logged in, I forget why I'm even trying to use your app. There are so many different shows, movies, sports, news and so much more to pick from. Only to be informed that I have to be on my home network to view them. Too bad your company doesn't believe in TRUTH IN ADVERTISING. Since you know that I am NOT in my home network why not stop showing the shows that I can't see. If it were possible I would give your app 0 stars. The only possible reason for 1 star is that you spelled Prism correctly. Is it possible to get an actual response from your organization concerning what you are doing to rectify these and other problems or is writing this just a waste of time just like your app ?

Terrible app, wish I still had xfinity

sfnm77

The prism app worked once for me when I first got Centurylink Prism TV. Ever since then it never works - I am always greeted with a screen saying there are technical difficulties and to try again in 10 minutes. It never gets better. Prior to the perpetual technical difficulties, when it did let me login, it always said I wasn't on my home network when I was actually on my home network. This app is garbage. I used to have xfinity and their on demand app is awesome compared to this - given that it actually functions.

What a waste

Missing dtv

After 14 years as a direct tv customer I made the jump to prism. Please think very hard before you make the same error. So far, this stinks. This app is a mess. I would comment on it but I only get a message about technical difficulties when trying to log in. When we spoke to a tech help person, they said that it was fine in their end. Neither my nor I can log in. We are also unable to use third party apps like bravo, USA,or the nbc Olympic app. All either say that we do not have that channel (we do) or are not authorized. Great. Tech support told us that it is a "known issue". Great. So far prism, very very underwhelmed. I wonder what direct tv will give me to come back?

Can't Log In. Garbage.

h_tanaya

Whenever i try to log in, it keeps telling me "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please try again in 10 minutes." Been like this for months. So frustrating!! If i can give a negative star rating, i would.

Couldn't Tell You

Because I still can't log in. I've had Prism for a week, and we've lost connection every day. Customer service running us in circles. Just like the others, nothing has gone right so far. Lots of hidden costs of features that should be basic. It can only get from here, and I hope it does, and fast.

App deserves zero stars

This app is a joke. I've never been able to successfully login since installing it. For several days it's been saying they're "experiencing technical difficulties" and to try again in 10 minutes. It has an option to get help through live chat but when I click it says live chat is currently closed. I wish I could give this app zero stars since there is nothing about it that works.

Nice option but can be frustrating!

Have had a problem with the app working on occasions. Sometimes the channels have a lock on it and says I have to have a subscription, when I do have a subscription. The REALLY frustrating issue I have is, every time I launch the app (even when it's only been an hour), it wants my to login when I have checked the last time to keep me logged in for 30 days. ?

Finally recognizes my Home Network.

Peter Keyser

After (2) one hour calls I was finally able to get this app to recognize my home network. I'm running this on an iPhone 6S and was finally asked to simply change the time on my phone back one minute, save, close the app and reopened it. It worked. Went back to correct the time, still works. I give the first tier support 1 star ⭐️ for the ridiculous runaround they gave me. I give the app 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(since I still can't watch local programming). I give the last representative I spoke with 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for her patience with me. She was about to walk me into another round of troubleshooting steps when I interrupted her with a heated rant about having completed every possible step there is and what could she possibly instruct me to do that I hadn't done already, 5 times... After a very brief pause she calmly told me to adjust time and check to see if that works. After it had successfully fixed the issue, I profusely apologized and advised that if anyone was listening, like a manager or a qc person, to immediately give her a raise. Anyway, finally works.
