I run a trucking company and love this app! I am. I am now paperless, have access to all my receipts any where I am, and can store multiple page documents that can be accessed anytime! Couldn’t run a mobile business without it!

With the cloud service now i either have yo keep paying year after year subscription to be able to access my information I repeat my information that I paid them for that organization already many times over a customer from the very beginning they have lost my face my trust my loyalty I've never been more disappointed and frankly hurt by what this company has done to us old timers. The mobil app still pathetic. I should have listened to the other reviews. People that gave positive reviews obviously did not use the old software is an equipment couldn't leave well enough alone if I could change my screen name it would be stuck between a rock and a hard place don't if I do darned if I don't use the service. be forewarned

I absolutely love the convenience of the App! I am really happy with the updates too. It processes the photos much better. The fact that you can even grab data from online receipts is fantastic! I don’t get some of these negative reviews as we’ve never had any major issues with Neat Receipt. Anyway, good investment.

Yes, there is an annual fee. Yes, the NEAT MOBILE App provides power in your pocket to store, move, and send documents. Yes, you get what you pay for. It has served me well and I heartily recommend it.
Great when it works
paper receipts piling up
I subscribed to Neat to keep our papers manageable when we traveled for 8 months. Having the scan was wonderful. I recommended the program to independent contractors who needed to keep records. The past two months I am getting an error message that I chose the wrong file (actually I appreciated having it go to inbox neat mobile). I am not allowed to select a file before scanning and its a challenge to select one after scanning. The inbox neat mobile is NOT a choice. Today after updating the app it crashed when selecting the final destination folder as a second choice for inbox folder. Currently I am over a month behind, receipts are piling up and there are 12 scans that are hung up as “processing” for several weeks. I am unable to delete them after making a pdf and resending the info via email. I want this to work, but reaching my limits of patience. It seems they are using their tech support to create modifications over corrections for their customers.

I have used Neat since 2010. The application for IOS does not work. You will loose data, and receipts. It needs to be removed from the App Store as a sham.

I’ve been a Neat user for a decade. The original slim scanner and desktop software was simple, quick, and efficient. Now I have to pay $70 a year for an app that crashes CONSTANTLY. I can’t take a photo of a single receipt directly in the app before it crashes. I can’t even import a single image from my camera roll. If this was just a single issue, it might sound like I’m just a complainer. But I’ve been using this app for a couple of years, and it has always been a piece of crap - I could only import 5-10 small receipts at a time without crashing before, not I cant even do a single one. My next step is to ask for a refund.

Since the last update the app crashes as soon as I tap the scan button. Please fix this.
