Sync doesn't sync

The mobile app still shows items in my inbox from August 2017 that were sorted into folders using the web app back in August 2017. This company has been in decline since they abandoned the original desktop software and moved to a subscription service.

They’ve updated the app, which seems to fix the jamming/clogging of uploaded images. I travel for business constantly, and being the over of the company, Neat has been invaluable in helping me collect and store the delude of recipes that I would carry with me on a weekly basis. I’ve tried several “free” options such as OneNote, and Office Lens. This has the best functionality of all. As far as exporting, the desktop application has a bulk PDF export function with suits me fine. I couldn’t see migrating the raw data to another platform. Overall this is a good application and a much needed service. I would recommend Neat to others and I’m looking forward to further refinements.

Screwed up when cloud came in

I have been using my Neat software for years with no incident. This Neat cloud came in and as soon as it started syncing some of my images started disappearing from within my Neat software. Also the images that synced and the transactions at synced into the cloud went straight into the trash with no images. Not to mention they started doing it right at 2017 tax season. And are going to stop supporting their legacy scanners. Why can’t people just leave things alone that work.

I got this app in hopes that it would help with organizing my receipts, so far it is doing that. However this app crashes way too much. It needs an update to prevent it from crashing while taking pics of my receipts. There also needs to be a faster way to make expense reports. Fix the problems and this wouldn’t be a bad application.

I was really hoping to be able to use my iPad exclusively with Neat. It works pretty well for most things - I have no problem changing the type of item (receipt, doc, etc). However, the "email your item" doesn't work -- the emails are never received - even 24 hours later. The export feature absolutely SHOULD allow you to upload it to the iCloud Drive rather than just “photos” - many of my documents can be saved as a PDF on my iPad but I can’t import it into the Neat App! The other thing that is not an option is combining items. You can't do that in the app. Fix these 3 things and I will give it 5 stars!

No longer works

The app will not do anything with files now. I select one, and it closes out to the home screen. I bought this scanner and software so I could have digital documents and all be accessible no matter where I am at. Now I cannot access anything remotely. :(
