The app is getting worse by EVERY release! What is their problem? Perhaps drain all of their customers away!

I especially agree with those who complain about being forced to use the cloud option. I want my data home and private. The new cloud version of the software itself is very difficult to use and dropped many features that I depended on in the 5.X version. Come on guys, up your game, don't let those of us who have invested in your product down.

Mobile Version is Terrible

What a mess!

Scanners and desktop software work great. The mobile and cloud services are terrible. Receipts emailed never make it to the cloud and then doesn't sync with desktop.

Really Needs help

This app could be really great, but it is cumbersome and troublesome. You can tell it was not designed by actual users and their user experience design group did not do their job. Also, doesn't integrate with their desktop (web based) app very well. There is good integration of receipts and uploads but not of usage. What a shame.

Bought an HP Printer w/ Neat

Capabilities and this app is the worst. Test scanned a document twice and no image was saved after it was processed. There's too many folder and the app is just too user un-friendly. Maybe the desktop version is better? If not I'll forget about my printers neat feature and just keep managing my files by myself. If I could give this app negative stars I would. Deleting for now..

Absolute worst

Neatcloud is so useless that I actually would go out of my way to write a review on it. Nothing works correctly. App can't find a destination folder to save to. When I choose one, the app crashes. When it randomly works, which is rare, it doesn't last long. Neat is so overfocused on its branding and fails to deliver on its core technology. So disappointing.

No Auto Crop

More cumbersome than the desktop software, but at least things don't stack up. Not having Auto crop makes it a no-use for me.

The app works fine, has for several years. Not the easiest and no clear instructions but works now that I know how. BUT, when scanning images with the app it does not Auto Crop the receipt or image. This basic feature is on every scan app I use and even apps that are much less complex and FREE!!!! Major loss for Neat, I will continue to look for other options. Unfortunately they organize my receipts with very little effort for me.

I am so disgusted with this company now--and I see I am not alone. It wasn't enough apparently that their scanner is entirely overpriced--NOW they are holding all your data hostage by making you buy a subscription to a cloud service. Their "customer service" is Kafkaesque. You call, they send you to the website, you get to the website, they say you have to be a PREMIUM subscriber to even get ANY help at all (so, the standard customer is totally hosed here--even though they are paying $6 a month for the service). I am thinking I will get the most satisfaction by taking this scanner to the tallest building in town and chucking it right over the side (ala Office Space)! Avoid the company, the product, the app at all costs!!!
