Disappointment and not worth the hassle

I have been with Neat a long time and every change they make is not in interest of existing customers. As of June 30, 2020, this will be the Neat mobile app. This app allows you to capture your receipts and documents but unless you upgrade to their extremely expensive plan, you will not be able to access the items you uploaded. The new plans are expensive and limits the amount of documents that you can upload a month. Unless you are a small business owner, don’t waste your time with this app..unless you are willing to upgrade to their expense plan. As far as the small business bookkeeping, QuickBooks has more features to offer, much cheaper and it’s a more stable company.

Long time user of neat among its 1st users. I heard update for app was very excited,,, man was I wrong! The new app is a TOTAL STEP DOWN, what company does this. I took abuse on my files for years as the company tried to finds it new way. Every time it cost my a fortune, I’ve bought Neat Scanners 500 each over the years to keep up, and now cloud based they are tearing down the apps!!! What is going on there?! Please don’t force this new app at end of month, and please do bug fixes on the current app. DONT MAKE SOLUTION FOR AN APP THAT MAYBE YOUR HAVING TROUBLE FIXING LET THE ANSWER BE TO BURN IT. Praying staying loyal for 15 years finally gets me somewhere.
Great way to track receipts and get rid of paper

I hate looking for receipts and I wanted to get rid of all the paper so I got desktop receipts around 10 years ago. It worked great but the reporting could be improved. There needs to be a report that gives all the details in summary. I e had trouble with my scanner periodically and it hasn’t worked for awhile but the app works using a camera. I don’t like that I have to size each scan manually but it works. For me it’s worth it to buy the annual fee to share data in the cloud with all devices.

I do not like to complain or write bad reviews but....I got the Neat system Jan 1,2019 with the good intention to start the New Year off right by keeping up with my paperwork better. What a disappointment. It scanned the first 11 receipts I entered and 4 months later I was able to scan in a couple more. All the others that finally after months said they were loaded were all blank. I have a year and half worth of receipts and paperwork that I have never been able to effectively load or capture and anything. Have paid for 2019 and 2020 and have nothing to show for either year. There is no “help” that actually helps either. Sadly disappointed and not paying for another year in hopes of getting it right.

This app used to work fine and for whatever reason they always seem to f up every other month. Paíd for yr membership now they’ve updated to a new version and requires me to pay again, f U neat!!!
Problems.
I like to fart
It’s a good app when it works. My problem has been if you have multiple employees using the app. Some employees receipts might show up as blank for whatever reason. I have employees with both iOS and android phones and a problem with both. Have called and emailed and get run around. Need this for my small business and if it worked right it would be worth 5 stars and money I’ve spent on product. Right now I’m not satisfied but I feel locked in.

This app is clunky to use! Neat online software is very weak and poorly designed. Neat support is awe full! They continue to increase there price and reduce the usability! Do not take the annual payment option!!!!

So incredibly easy to keep up with my accounts - I simply take a photo of my receipts and upload them to the cloud, then my PC automatically syncs! Brilliant!
