this app is a disgrace, which is pretty on-brand for the broken, always late, excuse-ridden LIRR i’ve reached out to the app developers multiple times to address an ongoing issue and they continue to ignore me FIX THE APP AND FIX THE LIRR YOU'RE AN EMBARRASSMENT
The app is unable to remember favorited locations. I regret updating to the latest version.
Although the app can be used as a useful resource for general scheduling it is unreliable for cancellations, delays and other important updates. The incompetence is unacceptable, especially for those relying on such app when commuting to work on daily basis. The developers of the app should work on improving the logistics OR notify their customers of their blatant short comings. Although the app is free it should not come at the cost of the customer. If anyone was contemplating using this app I would use extreme caution!
I’ve used this app in past and it was simple and did it’s job. Today I attempted to see time to nyc and entered penn Station destination. It showed the correct times but buggy app said “meadowlands”. Train time app should be non confusing or have mixed message.
An older version of this app would remember my favorite stops, but now I have to re-enter them every time I use the app. It’s a terrible experience. If not for this, I would give this app 4 stars
If hours pass between opening the app it has alzheimer's. It annoyingly refreshes on open and constantly changes my stations forcing me to pick them every time. Just remember my last selection, it’s not rocket science. Only good feature is it’s offline ability to show a cached schedule if you don’t have a good signal.
It was working before but I can’t save the favorite stops with this version. I have to type in my search every single time.
Apps completely broken now, cant even open it. They killed it so you have to use the cumbersome new app.
