Just wish I could store my favorite stations. Lost each time the app is closed.

New comer to LIRR

So basically read all the reviews from all the other app users I just hope that all these complaints were answered I use LIRR from time to time so I barely have complaints cause I drive everywhere but answer your customers man! Lol that is all

Functionality is going backwards

Hopyakbug

Why does the app no longer tell you exactly which train to transfer to when you have to transfer at a particular station? It used to give you which line to transfer to and the time of its departure, but now it just says "transfer at Jamaica" and nothing else. Why remove a function that only helps us? This app is going backwards just like the rest of the MTA.

Easy to use app

RdyTLrn

I like the usability of this and find it useful. But the LIRR /MTA need to update departure and arrival times if delays occur. I was sat in a train because of a delay at Jamaica and the app still showed arrival time as on time which was earlier than the current time in my delayed train. Clearly impossible. Makes meeting trains or scheduling difficult

Etickets disappear during trip

DeborahDeborahDeborah33333

Won't be using etickets anymore. For the second time an active ticket just disappeared during a trip and I had to activate a second ticket/pay twice.

I like the app a lot !!

AutomatonicBenthos

I'm usually quite critical of the way apps function but I seem to think this app gets the job done really well. Sometimes I'd miss trains because the times on the timetable is confusing to read but with this app I can see exactly when my train is coming, the number of stops, and when I arrive. I enjoy this app a lot so kudos to you MTA.

Too many bugs

Chickadeeboo

It's crap. App doesn't save favorite stations even though it gives you the option to do so.

LIRR TrainTime

The LIRR Train Time application is a resourceful aid for those who use the Long Island Rail Road daily or even for those who use it sparingly as it provides information for all aspects of the service. From arrival times to station information, from ticket prices to service alerts, to the latest news to trip planners the app has it covered. The design while a bit cluttered due to the enormous amount of information provided does not hamper ease of use. Users of the Metro North Train Time application can expect the same UI design so there is no learning curve. This app is even more beneficial now due to the recent service changes and disruptions the LIRR is going through and will be going through for the next couple of months. Users can just check the app to see what stations are affected, and see what connecting services can be used to avoid them. Regular users of the LIRR service need to have this application above all other s as you get a complete view and guide of the transit experience.

Hmmm

LilyNYC2015

Public transportation app has ads embedded in the app? How wrong is that. It is fine for a basic app about train schedules... but the ads are distracting and useless

Functional but only sometimes

dcgirl98

I use this a lot but oftentimes it will say a train is "on time" or "left the station" when in fact it's running late. Right now, the 9:05 train is late. The app has it as "left the station" while here at the station we can see how late it is. Yes, I am at the station already but it would be useful if the app actually reported what you see on the station boards.
