Train schedule

plhubguj

The only app that shows when the train is late and the exactly time it will arrives

No Real-time Update

Ni Rui

The updates are not real time nor accurate. They no longer say if the train is late. Always say on time but isn’t the case. Ruins people’s schedules! LIRR is supposed to be more reliable than subways. Not sure if the app upgrades cause it looks more like it downgraded. So disappointed.

Room for improvement

Huihead

A bit like LIRR service, great when things are working well, room for much improvement, but something you’re stuck with because you have no other options.. which I’m sure they’re well aware of. Improving their app is obviously much easier than improving their train service - can’t blame anything on Amtrak - but haven’t seen it happen. My biggest issue with the app is the inaccuracy of the data. I use the app to see how “on time” the train is, especially if I’m running a min late or if I’m having trouble finding parking (so I’ll look up the stops before my station to see when it’s showing the train left those stations to get an idea of how on time the train is). What is the point of the app though, if it’s falsely reporting that a train has left the station? There have been too many times that I’ve looked on the app, it said my train had left so I give up trying to catch it, and then I hear the train approaching. How do they track when a train has left the station? Is it just when the schedule train time passes, let’s just say the train has left so it looks like we run on-time? As others mentioned, also ridiculous that you can’t look up trains that have already left (mostly to see estimated arrival time). To skirt this, I usually change the search option from departure time to arrival time (at my destination), but it seems like it’d be an easy fix to show at least trains going back an hour or so. As others have also mentioned, would be nice if this app and the etix app was one app. Saw the ads for the “all-in-one” MYmta app, which really isn’t all-in-one - still need these other two apps.

Horrible app

Mikjmill13

This app was glitchy and unreliable at best when it actually worked. And now it just quits on its own almost immediately after I open it. It's totally useless. I only gave it one star because when it used to work it was actually somewhat useful. At least it could give you the times your train would arrive at the stations you selected. But now it won't even stay open when you launch it.

This app never works!

고오노

This app never tune to real train schedule!

Pls ditch the ad at bottom of screen

Peteyaux

Can’t tell you how annoying it is when you go to see the train schedule and try to scroll up and accidentally tap an ad. All I want is to catch a train, not see ads.

Took 5 years to get retina display resolution

CyberData4

..that's about what I expect from the MTA. I'm giving this app 5 stars just to encourage you guys updating more often. Like maybe twice a year instead of once a year. A man paying hundreds of dollars a month for train tickets can dream....

Great App Wrecked

Jlallen995

This was a go to app for me, but recently an update has made the text size too small for me to read. Why not add the ability to allow users to increase.

Improved Update; No Push Notifications

jsc77908

Would like to see updates pushed from this app to the notifications center so that it’s easier to see if there’s a delay without opening the app.

Keeps crashing

ewminny

App worked fine until a recent update (couple of weeks ago). Totally useless now. Crashes almost as soon as it loads.
