HORRIBLE APP

ITS JUST HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

File photo management is poor

Matt from Utah

The naming of files after you take images and download them to your computer. Needs to completely be redone the photos come out in a non logical order. Making it difficult to determine at what point you’re looking at your photos that you were taking. I take large volumes of photos every day. And when I download them a photo that I took later in the day will be named differently than a photo I took earlier in the day. Can’t you just simplify the photo naming a Files?

FLIR One / Gen 1 Issues

ieMACman

App has issues with the first generation FLIR One. Within less than a minute the screen will go back to the “plug in your FLIR One to See the Heat” screen. Apparently this is a known issue according to some simple google searching. The only current fix is to shut down the iPhone and FLIR One and disconnect and reconnect. It’s understandable that the Gen 1 units are technically obsolete but there’s no excuse for the software to have these issues. More is expected from a company with a long history of reliability. Follow-up: Contacted FLIR and was advised that the unit is no longer supported and I would need to buy new hardware. Needless to say there are plenty of other consumer grade thermal infrared cameras available today. In short FLIR has lost a customer.

Gen One Abandoned

kiwi42400

This app crashes immediately when older devices are turned on (not even that old!! Two generations and purchased just a few years ago!). I’ve tried again multiple times over the last year hoping it was just a bug they’d fix, but no. For ~$250, you would expect the software to still support working devices. Just seems like corporate greed forcing customers to buy the latest one. Too bad. Loved using this camera for personal use (looking at beehives in winter to see if they were still alive without having to open the hive up) and when teaching high school science classes about light. Just really disappointed in this company. I know they are an industry leader, but it makes me never want to buy another of their products again.

Terrible App

App is unstable on my phone. I haven’t used it in years because I found a better app. But I upgraded my phone and now that app isn’t in the store anymore. I think the developer lost interest. But I’m planning on contacting the developer and buying the app and publishing it to get the app back. That is how bad this app is. The other app isn’t even great. But it is better than this stuff.

Stay away

Tom3891

The app is terrible, the camera is crap and will die on you (hope you still have warranty when that happens) and customer support is completely incompetent. They couldn’t even get the address right on the replacement camera they sent out after my original one died after only a few months. How anyone still buys their stuff is beyond me. What’s worse, Apple sold these crappy cameras in their stores. That’s where I got mine. Of course, apple doesn’t offer any support. Beware! Note to developer: don’t bother replying. Been there, done that.

Pay the Man

You’re not paying your app developers enough, or they need some equity in your company. It “works” but you can tell no one is putting passion into developing this app. Pay the Man!
