Can't take video

Just got a Gen 3 one and am using it with an iPhone XS. There seem to be many things that are in the manual that I'm not seeing. Temp range for example. I've not been asked to create an account to register, and everything seems to be going fine when I record a video, but I can't save them and when I try to view them they only play for a split second. There is also no option to check the firmware. Phone is running 13..3.1

Embeds FLIR watermark in all images

I started a chat with Customer Support in the app to ask how to remove it and was told they could not help. If I bought a camera from Canon or Sony and every photo had a watermark that would not be acceptable and is not acceptable with this camera. Don’t buy this product.

This version is absolutely horrible

Slow as molasses, crashes all the time, puts an unremovable water mark (very unprofessional) on all images and videos. Made the mistake of upgrading the old version and now can’t roll back. {##]##£€£]€>!

App works for exactly 3 minutes then disconnects from the camera. Confirmed with 3 different Gen 1 FLIR Ones and 4 different iPhones! It’s exactly 3 minutes every time. Forced obsolescence? I think so. MSX Distance slider is also not functional. Slide it full left, it gets stuck. You have to unplug camera then exit app to fix it.

Wrong date on videos

All videos taken in past showing wrong date of future. So all of these videos are in latest item in my gallery at all the time. Guess this happened after my mobile os updated to 13.1.2

MSX needs improvement

This should be an easy issue to fix so I’m not sure why the developers have not done it yet. The MSX is often misaligned in the horizontal direction, But currently it can only be adjusted in the vertical. This makes alignment difficult. And sometimes if you are taking a image that has both near and far objects in the view, the MSX You’re only align with one of them, If the MSX could be stretched, this problem could be easily solved.

Flir needs to stop selling phone cameras unless they support their customers

Used to work great but they no longer support older flir one cameras. If they will not fix this I will no longer buy their products.

When I try to update the firmware it crashes. When I click on “about” it crashes. I rebooted the IPhone, updated the IOS software, it still crashes. I’ll be awaiting a fixable answer, until then my review will remain at one star. The Pro is too expensive to be content with cheap unusable software.

not support Bluetooth shutter

iOS will take a picture with external Bluetooth shutter, but this app did not respond to it, instead tuning up. Hope fix it in next version.
