FLI'M Irate
Clearly that’s what FLIR stands for. I buy their product, it’s good. Then they go and ‘update’ the app rendering some cameras useless and taking away features that already existed from the rest. Then they ‘mail merge’ the same canned response to 100 consecutive 1 star reviews. You can no longer time lapse an hour of footage down to 2 minutes. You now have to completely max out your phone’s memory with the full hour. You will lose IQ points trying to figure out why they would do that. They didn’t just ruin the app they ruined their whole reputation, company and every incentive I would ever have to buy another product from them. This is an Epic fail if there ever was one. Selling a product then breaking it for you?!?! Their ‘New’ app is a bigger tragedy than New Coke.

Only saves jpeg, and insists on slapping a watermark on all saved images. This is the only camera I have ever seen in my life that won’t save without a big stupid logo. Wouldn’t take much effort to give us an option to turn that off.
Weak on privacy, poor followthrough on promised use cases

The Amazon ad for the FLIR One Gen 3 says it can be used for art, but they plaster a FLIR watermark on every image. I paid for the camera already, and you're going to milk me for more with free advertising? The "about" page where you can set your privacy preferences vis-a-vis tracking cookies is broken (scaled wrong) such that you can't actually disable tracking. It doesn't inspire confidence that this app hasn't been updated for a year as of this writing (May 2021), because who knows when an iOS update will brick the app and effectively brick your FLIR camera. Gets two stars because the basic functionality is intact, but a lot of people investing in a thermal camera are going to be technically inclined; let us play with the manual settings.
App stopped working with new update

App received a new update this week and it will no longer load. Crashes after splash screen even after rebooting iPhone 12 Pro several times. This is a very critical time for using the camera!

Don’t release poorly tested apps. It instantly crashes on iOS 14.4.2 on iPhone 11 Pro.

So I have the FLIR One Pro and this new version works very well! I like really like the option to have on-screen markers for the coldest/warmest spot. They finally fixed the bug I reported like a year ago! The file naming was a huge pain in my side when it came to uploading them to OneDrive. Now the naming seems to incorporate the exact time taken rather than the same name each minute.

This update has blown the range (Pro Model), totally ruined its operability at night, degraded the resolution and made manual adjust a painstaking incremental process instead of the palette slider… WHY?? Please bring back the previous version and restore the capabilities of the device. You make the finest infrared devices in the world, but your app engineers totally blew it on this one.
