Missing major feature: Battery level!

Trshpl7

There's no way to tell what the battery level is on the FLIR One! At least stuff it in a settings screen if not on the main interface. This app is a little buggy (crashes occasionally and sometimes the drawer icons are sometimes jumbled), but it generally works well.

Needs focus feature!

Overall the unit works as advertised and for the money is a very good value. That being said it is lacking in some very important features, one of which is the ability to focus. It's pretty useful for indoor VERY short range imaging but if you're camping or trying to aid in a search and rescue, locate a family member if your house was on fire and full of smoke or locate a lost animal, not having the ability to focus is a major drawback and renders this device an app useless in many applications. There are also some imaging modes that appear to be available in the code of the app but not to the end-user. It would be nice to have the full range of pallets. I'm working on a clip on focus element for the lens in the meantime just to get around the shortcomings of using it at any reasonable distance (especially outdoors at night). Please add some sort of focus ability to the app!

Buggy

When the app is working it is good. Here are the issues with the app: 1) the app constantly loses connection with camera. This is very frustrating because I constantly have to unplug the camera, turn it off and back on, plug it back in, etc repeatedly until it recognizes the camera. I have an iPhone 6 with the latest os and the latest firmware updates for the camera. 2) the temperature range constantly adjusts. This is an okay feature but I want to lock the range in on certain temps so I can compare one area of my house to another. The app has a feature that allows you to lock the current range but that means you have to find a view that just happens to have your highest and lowest temp and lock it right then. This is almost impossible considering it constantly adjusts. 3) the camera is very laggy. This isn't a huge issue because I expect that it takes a fair amount of processing power to combine the two images but it is something that should be improved. I have used the app to identify areas of my house that need more insulation but it is annoying trying to get the app to function as advertised -- especially when it disconnects in the middle of me using it without the phone getting bumped or the camera being touched.

Nope

Stop. Don't buy. This company has failed to improve this app. It has actually gotten worse. No specific temperature setting, no sidebar temp range, no longer works with "FLIR Tools".

Needs work. Wow still didn't fix these things

First there needs to be an option to turn on and off the flir watermark. Also using the time lapse there is no elapse time marker on the video even though there is an option Also! When recording a video there is always a "3" at the beginning. For example, it'll show 30:00 and 31:00 if you have recorded 1 min of video. Also! I would like the ability to set the high and low threshold for the hot and cold filters. Would be even better if I can have one more filter where I can manually set the minimum and maximum temperatures to show the single color in a gray scale. This can help me identify people or animal in a field by settings minimum for their hear signature and a maximum(sometimes street lights run hotter and I can negate those signatures) Needs some work

Thermal Inspection

Trapper_920

I think this app is a great tool. The Flir One that it connects to was the most affordable thermal imaging device I've ever seen. Lots of potential uses but there is one thing I'd like to see added that gets this a 4 star. I think it would help with the reports if the app would geo tag rather than manually having to add it in the tool app.

iOS 9.2 - Can't Get it to Work

rnd123

This worked fine on my iPhone 5 until I loaded iOS 9.2. Now, I can open the app but I can't get the camera to turn on. Tried rebooting but to no avail. Went right from iOS 8 to 9.2.

Off to a good start

Product works well. I appreciate the ability to pull photos to camera library or other FLIR app. I would be helpful if the camera can be controlled by the volume buttons like the native phone camera.

Amazing!!!!

kittycannon

Works just like a thermal cam!!!!!!!!!

Camera.....

Nice, fun app

You have to have a camera that goes specifically with the app....... :c huge disappointment.
