The position of the photo button needs to be adjusted because camera hanging off the bottom of the phone makes it hard to take pictures without messing with camera - add ability to take pictures with the volume buttons. The app does not detect rotation and does not adjust the thermal overlay, resulting in the image being off . Also I can't seem to find an option to align he thermal image, so it is off even in portrait mode.

I'm using this App along with the second version Flir One and it's excellent. I'm using it on the iPhone 6S Plus and iPad Mini 2. The App is simple to use, stable, well thought out and useful. Thanks Flir for making an affordable thermal camera. I have noticed the Flir One battery runs down more quickly in video mode. I don't understand the negative reviews, I'm guessing many don't have the plug in hardware (the Flir One) or maybe they have the original iPhone 5 slip on Flir One?

Used to work perfectly, but now crashes everything time I try to use it (it don't litteraly crash, but I am brought back to home).

Used the FLIR one to help my son with his science fair project correlating the temperature of a tennis ball and its bounce. We loved the temperature reading capability. The app is straightforward and very functional. Photos went right into the presentations. He learned a lot in the process and is going to stand out come presentation time.

Great product. Found a leak in my shower drain this weekend that would have caused much more damage if I hadn't scoped it with the FLIR One and uncovered the damage. I have the iPhone 5 sled version, but can't wait to buy the dongle for my next phone.

Good, but could use some work

I think the idea behind FLIR ONE is amazing, although there are some obvious shortcomings to the app. For one, it freezes a lot to readjust, which can make you miss important video footage. Another is that the camera is laggy and isn't quite as fast or dynamic as the iPhone's stock camera. Overall, the controls are nice and it's a small package to carry around when you need thermal. Fun to play with, but not professional quality equipment by any means.

Ok I have this working just fine on my iPad but the problem is on my iPhone 6plus. The problem is it loaded just fine the first time but now won't work after a restore. Here is what is happening. I got a new phone and when i restore the app won't show the help tips that pop up the first time downloaded. This is a critical part because now it only goes strait to the screen where it ask for your camera. It's like it won't load the drivers for the camera to be recognized. I have don't many test on this and that is the common issue. Even if I delete the app from my phone and redownload it it won't show the tip and how too splash screens when opening the app. I'm guessing there is some bugs on the app during the load sequence. This must be fixed as the camera will not work on my phone at all and it's a brand new phone.
