Images blurry
unsersanroe

I’ve been uninstalling and reinstalling this app multiple times hoping for a better outcome. Every time I try to download my pictures from my camera to my phone, they pictures will not load. They are blurry and then they act like they’re going to load and they end up not.

Pretty bad

This is a pretty bad app for such a well known camera company. Connectivity issues are insane. Decent when it actually works.

Works great, if you can ever get it to work
DirectorBones

Every time I want to use this I have to start from scratch. Set up a new connection and then hope it pairs. It times out 99 times out of 100 and fila to pair with either wifi or Bluetooth. In the last two years I’ve been able to transfer images 1 time. When it worked, it was great. But if you turn the camera off the next time you go to use it you have to start from scratch again.

It never works!

You’re lucky if you get it to work. And from someone who works on the go and the convenience of getting photos to my phone quickly is so important... I cannot rely on this app unfortunately!

Won’t connect on 13Pro

Won’t connect to a camera on my iPhone 13 Pro but will connect to a camera on my old regular iPhone 7 this WiFi connect format is extremely buggy and needs to be fixed

Doesn’t work most of the time

This app has trouble staying open on iPhone 12 Pro. Just like it’s buggy desktop app, canon still can’t get its app game right. We’re talking basic functionalities and support for iOS here.

Works…then it doesn’t

So I had this for a few days and it was working beautifully….until it didn’t anymore. Makes me so wish I never bought a Canon camera. They just don’t care about small details like this. Crap. I would pay a few bucks for the app if it was reliable. It would be worth it. Now considering buying a new camera and I’ve had my Rebel t6i for a few years. Great camera but I can’t get it to talk to its own app. Go figure. Renders my camera nearly useless, if I didn’t have my desktop computer I’d just have to retire the camera to the trash bin. This app is so utterly worthless. WTG, Canon. Keep it up and you’ll be as useless in the digital age as a company called Kodak. Just sayin.

Does not work!

I have tried to use this app several times with my new Canon camera and this app will not work with my camera. Don’t waste your time on this app. Get a SD card reader instead.

No go with iPhone 13
Todd Fleming

Have used the app with few problems for the last year with a PowerShot SX 530 and iPhone SE. Just got a new iPhone 13. Now the phone and the camera will not connect. Ever. The phone sees the camera’s WiFi and can select it in Settings. Activating the app after establishing the WiFi connection gets nothing. The Canon app will not recognize the Canon camera that it previously worked with. Using the app’s scan function still does not bring the camera up. So now I’m stuck pulling the SD card and plugging it into my desktop computer to retrieve images. Not the most convenient.

Never connects to my iPad
