Since I bought my new phone, can’t get past this screen to actually use this app. Come on guys, test your upgrade scenarios.
Can’t retrieve settings?!

How am I supposed to do anything with this thing if it freezes and can’t retrieve the settings of all things?! Very frustrating the app is so wonky. Please fix. I’d rather not have to switch devices.

This is probably the most confusing app we have ever encountered. I feel like Amazon should pay me for the lost time out of my life trying to configure this as well as their useless music app. I do not recommend this app.

I use my Echo and Echo Dot only for streaming music (Spotify and Pandora). The iPhone screen lags way behind what’s actually playing in Pandora. Often, the screen suddenly tells me about stuff I can ask Alexa to do and there’s no obvious way to get back to the currently-playing screen. It feels as if Amazon only wants me to use Alexa to shop. If that’s what’s going on, fine, but I wish Amazon would say so. I would pay additional $$ to turn this back into a decent music-control system - like paying extra for the ad-free Kindle. I use only the phone app (and not the voice controls) because the voice controls are pathetic when trying to get the hardware to play particular classical or jazz pieces. Not surprising that Alexa isn’t good at that—What’s Amazon’s incentive to improve skills in that area?
Volume button is hard to control

The sliding volume button is not responsive and hard to control for current version. Previous version was much better. Very poorly designed. Fail ? -Review update 12/4/2017 The sliding volume button is still not fixed. AMZN support used to be good. Fail ?
App is awful

Doesn't work properly with Philips hue, doesn't connect to most TV's, can't reset the home address so everytime we ask for weather it's a different city. Get your stuff together- this app is garbage
