The free Amazon Alexa App is a companion to your Alexa device for setup, remote control, and enhanced features. Alexa is always ready to play your favorite music, provide weather and news updates, answer questions, create lists, and much more. Alexa's brain is in the cloud, so she continually learns and adds more functionality over time. The more you use Alexa, the more she adapts to your speech patterns, vocabulary, and personal preferences.
HOW IT WORKS
Interactions with Alexa are automatically mirrored visually on your Amazon Alexa App, providing more information as you want it. The Amazon Alexa App lets you easily manage your alarms, music, shopping lists, and more -- wherever you are.
FAST WI-FI and EASY SET UP
Connect to your home's Wi-Fi network using the free Amazon Alexa App, with its simple guided setup. Now you can stream all of your music, listen to radio stations, and have access to news and information, all by voice -- or with the Amazon Alexa App's intuitive interface.
I cannot get Alexa to connect to WiFi do very frustrated at this point.
I bought three alexa dogs and they were working great. All of a sudden two of them don’t work. They r only about 3 months old. Not happy
I am not worried about artificial intelligence taking over any time soon
I use it mostly for music with Pandora and for months it plays 1 song and then stops. There is no help or customer support that works or offers a solution. I spent a ton of money on echo speakers only for it to collect dust. BTW - pandora works fine everywhere else, it’s not my internet connection, router, or anything like that. It is Alexa and the speakers.
Apps and skills rarely work - music playback often stops unexpectedly, even if using amazon music. Wish I had gone with the google system as I think the software is much much better.
Better than Siri but still misses 1\3 of commands. Play the daily but I get Reuters. Getting worse!
Making lists, reminder and messages. Great way to help organize my families day.
Whenever I drop in and turn off the speaker feature so I can use it on my ear it BLASTS. NEEDS TO BE FIXED
Amazon decided today to start pushing ads to my phone using the Alexa app. The app itself was always a necessary evil of using an Echo. I wouldn’t install unless necessary. You’ll never use it outside of some set up.
