Rented Golf villa 282, 4 bedroom villa in Casa de Campo in February 2022 for 6 nights and had a blast. The cook was amazing, loved all of the spacious rooms, great pool and heated Jacuzzi were a big plus and the price was so reasonable. Definitely recommended for couples or families

I needed to cancel a reservation and upon requesting cancelation was sent to the host and the host sent me back to VRBO. My credit card has been charged a fee by VRBO but I can’t find any contact info to be able to discuss it with someone. This company certainly doesn’t place any value on providing service to clients as there is nobody available through any source to provide customer support. Now I’m left to dispute charge with my Credit Card.

Would not recommend this site.Book the home out of the country. Unfortunately it was a bad storm. There was no electricity in the home when we arrived. Had spoken to the house day before he said it was electricity. When we arrive there was no electricity power was out water. The house was nice enough to loan us his vehicle so we can go down the road and book a hotel room. Unfortunately they seem to the electricity came on the next day. They thought we should return meanwhile we booked a hotel for the rest of our stay. That was the reason they felt we didn’t deserve a refund. Booking a hotel for the rest of our state was a safe decision. Do not recommend this site no help was giving and yes email all the time will not speak to a person.

I’ve stopped hosting on VRBO, they do little to nothing to help protect from spams and scams. I’ve only received fake offers on a property that stays booked with actual customers from Airbnb. In the past, when I did receive a request from a VRBO customer, I just laugh at them for being out of date with the times. If you get a criminal contacting you on VRBO, good luck reporting them. No idea how many steps that would take to get done. More likely, you leave and they stay to scam the next person.

Bad VRBO App and Customer Service

I cancelled a reservation through VRBO. The manager of the property canceled the reservation and returned my deposit immediately. I saw no way in the app to contact VRBO directly to get them to cancel the reservation in their system. I finally found a VRBO phone number buried in their website. The VRBO rep told me I had to contact the property manager directly to let VRBO know the reservation had been canceled. I said i shouldn't have to be the go-between for VRBO and the property manager, VRBO should contact the manager directly. The VRBO rep put me on hold, then connected back with me to say he had confirmed the reservation had been cancelled by the property manager and would complete the cancellation in VRBO. Yet several weeks later the VRBO website and app still shows the cancellation as pending and VRBO has not refunded the reservation fee. I don't know or understand what service, if any, VRBO provides for the fee they charge.

There’s no Apple Pay support, y’all expect me to type in my credit card info in 2022? Also I really dislike the dark pattern of charging two payments, not requiring we create an account for the first one then forcing account creation for the second. That’s just wrong.

Vrbo is the best vacation rental app. It has a large selection of places to rent with easy transactions.

No Notification of payment due

I never received a notification that I had another payment due and could lose the rental if I didn’t submit the second payment. Either automatically charge the original card on file or send notification via text that another payment is due.
