This has to be one of the worst mobile banking experience ever. Doesn’t easily and quickly show your balance. Reviewing descent transactions of searching them in not friend or intuitive. App doesn’t even scale to the full display on my phone. Just another bank that poorly displays a web app on a mobile device. If this bank wasn’t the bank used on UNL campus I would close my kids accounts. Even they can stand the app and primarily use Union Bank as a go between bank for their Capital One 360 accounts. (Capital One has probably the best mobile banking experiences on the planet).

The old version of the app looked and worked fine on my iPhone 7+ - not right away, of course, but they eventually got the aspect ratio and resolution correct. But with this latest version, it’s back to being an overscanned, low-res mess because it doesn’t know I’m using a 1920x1080 display. How is that even possible? It’s 2018, AND you had a working version for over a year. Now, every single screen is cut off or cropped in a way that makes the app nearly unusable. It’s been this way since early July, and it is now September 10th. Over two months without an update or response from the developer. Just get it working on all devices. I can handle UI refreshes, but not when they detrimentally impact the user experience.

This app used to be great. It is incredibly slow and having to go back to the home page (vs simply back a page) to review/interact with accounts is painful. The pages don’t display in full on my iPhone. Painful experience and no changes for the better since the app updated several months ago.

I am unsure what happened but every time I go to deposit a check it informs me it’s unable and to retake the pictures. I have tried on multiple days with multiple checks following the instructions with the same outcome every time

Not impressed with the slow response time to transfer between accounts. It appears they traded the old mobile app platform for an outdated website with responsive design capabilities on mobile devices. Not impressed.

This app is slow, outdated, and not at all user friendly. I also have an account with another bank, and their app is so much easier to use. UBT makes it (more) difficult to do something as simple as checking your balance, and everything is slow. Personally, mobile banking is a huge component of my banking experience, and I’m not sure I see myself with UBT in the future, especially if this app remains the same.
