Buyer Beware - app forces overpayment in $10 increments

During the pandemic I wanted a reliable way to make pre orders at coffee bean. Sadly the app forces you to send money to coffee bean in $10 increments instead of just placing your order so you’re forced to always overpay and send them more money.

I tried updating and ordering on the app ahead, but it said “Unknown request error”. Kind of ruins the point of the app. But at least it keeps your points and gift card value.

They say buy one get one free for Mother’s Day, but then I end up paying full and I can’t cancel the order. Get Starbucks instead.

Somehow the Starbucks app has so much going on but it works. The coffee bean app needs some better UI. Also I have a favorite location that’s farther away on my way to work so why does it always default to the nearest location (opposite side of my work). Have had 2 drink orders sent to the nearest location because my favorite location is not the default. That’s where Starbucks shines. It’s my favorite first and if I want another location you click nearest.

Trying to get my info on another phone and invalid pass or mail message plus i sent my card to my self and now its off my phone plus who or where do we contact cust service to straighten out account after i ended my face book account without losing my rewards or my $75 balance???????? Help

Fix the tip notifications

Everything is great but the poor baristas only get a tip if I have cash. Got a new phone and tip notification part worked once. Add a function so I can go in and manually tip. Your workers are worth it. Fix please.

I wish your app development team could figure out how to push notifications about rewards. I have SEVERAL expire within days of each other. The drinks are very expensive and I would have loved to use the rewards. I wouldn’t mind a text to notify me that I earned an award and to use it before it expires… Also the app should have more to it. For these reasons I go across the street to *bucks.

Unfortunately this app can’t be used on Oahu. You can’t get all the awesome rewards mainland users receive.

I tried to get set up on the app and it wouldn’t let me past the birthday field. It was asking for a MMMM dd format (just like I typed), but it was a pick list, which didn’t work. I tried to get around the pick list by trying to paste the info in, but it still wouldn’t work. I gave up! Too bad, because I started a new job and Coffee Bean was on the way. ?
