The app is easy to use and quite handy, however, it would be nice to be able to tip the baristas from the app. Also, when CBTL has their receipt promotions (ie. $1.00 off when you complete a survey) it would be nice if those were attached to the app as well. You could purchase your drink with the app, tip on the app, have your receipt sent to the app where you could fill out your survey and have the $1.00 automatically added to your account.

I recommend CBTL, but the app for ordering is a very annoying experience for me. Unfortunately I have to depend on it. Always an error when trying to order from the list of FAVORITES I created. So if it’s not a recent order, I have to create the order details from the beginning. And will not permit me to delete those non-accessible FAVORITES.

You can’t pay for your order with credit or debit. You have to load a gift card on the app (with a credit or debit card in the app!) and each time you load, the minimum amount you can add to the gift card is $10. I don’t want to purchase a gift card—I just want to pay for my order with my cc/dc! So in this app you can’t use credit or debit to directly purchase order, but you can use credit/debit to purchase a gift card. So shady and so inconvenient!

Their app used to be serviceable but after the big major update this app is garbage now. The gift cards don’t refresh properly, and if multiple cards are loaded, the app doesn’t automatically deduct amounts across cards like it used to do prior. We have had to call and email customer service for CBTL multiple times to get fund’s credited back which disappeared as well. Every time we use this app it’s frustrating. I wish this app would work how it used to.
Needs an update.

I’ve downloaded it over and over and just stays on the coffee been loading screen. I’ve never seen the Home Screen.

The app is stuck on the first page to enter your date of birth and phone number after accepting the terms it just reloads to the same page. This all is totally useless.
App stinks

Love CB but have problems every time with the app. Today I tried to merge 3 gift cards. It merged 2; dumped the balance I still had in my account & totally deleted the 3rd card. I tried to reload that one when I got home & it said it was already used. Apparently this is a continuing problem as there are a number of reviews with the same complaint. When I called Customer Service several months ago about issues with the app, I felt like I wasn’t really heard. In addition, I’ve tried 3 now 4 nicknames—2 unique & it tells me they’re all taken.
Hasn't worked in weeks now

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, on both my iPhone and iPad, yet I can't log in, create a new account, can't do anything. Uninstalled initially because was unable to reload my card, kept getting an error something like "unable to contact payment processor." I'm at the highest reward level and spend a lot of money at coffee bean, itd be nice to be able to rack up those rewards again. How has this issue not been addressed yet? The app hasn't been updated in months! Coffee bean needs to fire their dev team and hire someone new. My company will gladly get you going again wink wink.
