Fickle

Dr. Garcia7

When it works it is an amazing tool. Too often there are glitches with its interface with Spotify, which is how I mainly use it. Overall, when I host people I cut time out to trouble shoot the system in the morning to make sure it will work.

Terrible since upgrade

Ever since upgrading to the new sonos app, now pandora and spotify will only play music on days where the stars are aligned. Fix your software Sonos. Now Pandora doesn’t play no matter what I do. Waste of money on Sonos. Got an anazon echo and it works fine.

best app for speakers.

Love my new Sonos. So easy to use and the sound is great.

Blows

Can’t gain access. Paying a monthly fee.

Free but quirky

ThomasPuckettDesigns

I’m grateful to have an almost limitless supply of diverse music streamed throughout my home. This comes at a price of constantly unreliable performance. The app goes offline, restricts access, can’t find the speakers, bumps need to an update that I’ve already made, etc. Or, it plays perfectly - for a while.

Excellent speaker

Can’t beat our Sonos.

Stops music

Thomicide

Sonos will stop music or disconnect from my phone that is playing music. Please check app or update it

Sonos is a huge disappointment

Krista613

Sonos sounds great when the speakers are all working. However it does this almost everyday and loses connection with one of the speakers and you have to repair it which takes foever. I'm so disappointed in the connectivity.

I’m free. I finally switched to Apple HomePod Minis

I love updating this review every now and then, when I’m reminded of how terrible a product this is and what nonexistent customer service they had. I was recently at a friends house and listening to his records cut in and out through his Sonos system as it lost connection. Ahhh how I don’t miss it! It’s finished. I’ve waiting years for these beautiful but painfully challenging Sonos devices to catch up and build an app that works. Sadly, it never happened. Last weekend, I purchased a pair of HomePod Minis from Apple and the next day, I listed my entire Sonos system on Craigslist. I’m out. I’m so happy to have a system that works!! Sorry Sonos. You’re losing a star. The UI is awful, everyone knows that. But now, the hardware is failing. I have a pair of speakers and a sub in my living room. The sub has just stopped working. The kicker? The app doesn’t even tell me! It seems to think it’s all good to go! Sonos! Please stop spending money on paying Thom Yorke to curate a radio station and make products that work.
